Peace talks between the U.S. and leaders from Afghanistan and the Taliban have been called off, after the Taliban admitted they were behind a deadly bombing in Kabul last week that resulted in the death of a U.S. soldier.

The Department of Energy is putting down its guns and withdrawing troops in the war on the incandescent bulb that began in 2007. It’s pretty late in the day; the last factory to make them in the U.S. shut down in 2010. It’s hard to find them in a store, in which case: thank goodness for Amazon!
Still, the damage can be reversed. Our houses can again be warm and beautiful, and legally. Sunday on MSNBC, House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) wondered if the Bill of Rights would pass in today’s “climate.”

On April 25th 1863 Lincoln bankrupted a commercial company known as the original United States.
Prior to this, Lincoln had formed a Delaware Corporation doing business as The United States of America, Inc. in order to continue to keep the wheels of government moving following the departure, on March 27th 1861, of eleven congressional delegates that represented the Southern States, an action which forcefully adjourned congress without having established a future date to re-convene. A California sheriff is calling for immigration reform in his state after he says sanctuary city policies freed a violent illegal immigrant who went on to shoot a police officer and lead cops on a wild, high-speed chase.
Guadalupe Lopez-Herrara, 51, was taken into custody Thursday, a day after the Merced County’s Sheriff’s Office says Lopez-Herrara shot a deputy attempting to arrest him for allegedly violating a restraining order, FOX26 reported. However, just two years prior to her release, she would leave prison on a stretcher to the hospital suffering with a broken neck. Roughly one month after he was found dead of an alleged suicide by hanging at his jail cell in Manhattan, the location of the body of pedophile and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein has finally been confirmed.
