A Lee County sheriff’s deputy was caught on camera elbowing a suspect in the face. Lee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a deputy was placed on administrative leave due to the recorded incident.

Chicago (CNN)Two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation tell CNN that Chicago Police believe actor Jussie Smollett paid two men to orchestrate an assault on him that he reported late last month.

Governor Cuomo announced Friday that three state correctional facilities will close under the new state spending plan.
“In my first State of the State address eight years ago, I said prisons are not a jobs program. Since then, I am proud to have closed more prisons than any governor in history,” Cuomo said in a statement, adding that more facilities will now be mothballed. In the 1990s, I watched a federal trial in a Los Angeles courtroom. The defendant was charged with selling medical drugs without a license to practice medicine.

On January 23, the House of Representatives passed an appropriations act billed to ““reopen the government and pay our federal employees.” But buried inside the bill are diverse financial allotments and perks for a foreign country: Israel.
The legislation contains paragraphs and sections far removed from the shutdown, committing billions of dollars in payments to Israel – without the robust debate that usually accompanies big-ticket spending. Salem Oregon has dictated HB2020.. I mean propose.. HB2020 is a “carbon reduction” dictate, a smaller version of “The Green New Deal”. This bill will raise highway gas tax, add a additional $50 a month to natural gas bills among many other higher taxes on carbon based goods. The Green Cult in the North is attacking the rest of rural Oregon. The problem is they are selling the same old ticket. And only the cities in the North are buying it! Liza Goitein, an “expert” at the Brennan Center for Justice, said on Friday that President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency could allow him to take money from Americans’ bank accounts, shutter radio stations, and unleash biological agents.
The Brennan Center is named for the late liberal Supreme Court Justice William Brennan and is funded by George Soros-allied groups and other leftist organizations like the Schumann Media Center and the Joyce Foundation. A judge has overturned a more than $37 million verdict awarded to the family of a woman killed in an armed standoff with Baltimore County police.
Korryn Gaines, 23, was shot and killed in August 2016 after an hours-long standoff with police in Baltimore County. Before getting into the details of this crazy omnibus bill, it’s important to recognize that we don’t understand all the details. The worst provisions are written in vague language ensconced in an 1,169-page bill, which has already been posted online in two different versions (the first was 10 pages shorter). That is exactly why Democrats are salivating to vote on this within a few hours of passage, which is exactly why Trump has a responsibility to oppose it immediately and demand at least a short-term clean continuing resolution so that he can digest the consequences of this bill. Remember the dreaded “pink slime” video from 2012? There it was, some indescribable pink paste extruding through a machine – was it strawberry ice cream? A new type of Play-Doh?
Nope, pink slime was basically the meat industry equivalent of the trimmings or scraps that are normally swept up and tossed in the trash, or into pet food – a collection of bits collected from the meat production process that is transformed into a filmy, translucent substance using a centrifuge, which is then treated with ammonia hydroxide gas and added to commercial ground beef, usually in fast food or school cafeterias. Houston, TX — A botched drug raid last month shook the nation as a couple was killed by police in their own home and four officers shot. Now, after controversy and rumors have swarmed the case, the Houston police department has admitted that the entire raid was based on the lies of one of their own.

As TFTP reported last week, one of the officers involved in the raid was suspended and the department refused to elaborate as to why. Now we know. This criminal cop, lied on the sworn affidavit that led to a raid in which two innocent people were murdered by Houston police officers. AURORA, Ill. (AP) — A 15-year employee being fired from a suburban Chicago manufacturing company started shooting Friday, killing five co-workers and wounding five police officers before he was killed by police, authorities said.
Aurora, Illinois, Police Chief Kristen Ziman said 45-year-old Gary Martin “was being terminated” before he started shooting at the Henry Pratt Co. — which makes valves for industrial purposes — in the city about 40 miles (65 kilometers) west of Chicago.
