Around 1,000 Central American migrants marched freely through the Guatemala-Mexico border on Friday after the gates were left wide open, with Mexican authorities standing down from confronting the caravan.

The border gates were open only temporarily, but migrants – who crossed the bridge from Tecun-Uman to Ciudad Hidalgo – were surprised to find no locks on the gates, effectively giving them a free pass to enter the country without being stuck at the border or registering with immigration officials and now begin the trek to the U.S. border, which can range from between 1,000 to 2,500 miles depending on the point of entry.   Continue reading “Migrant caravan freely crosses Mexican border after gates were left open, authorities avoided ‘confrontation’”

I was sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig.

“Well, whatcha’ gonna do about it?” he says, menacingly, as I burst into tears. “Come on, man,” the biker says, “I didn’t think you’d cry. I can’t stand to see a man crying.”   Continue reading “I was sitting at the bar…”

When a driver decided to destroy a giant snowman in Petersburg, Ky., on Monday, the culprit got a rude awakening. Instead of poor Frosty being murdered, the snowman got its revenge, since its base was a giant tree trunk in the yard of Cory Lutz.

Lutz was hosting his fiancée, Lucy, and her sister, Laura, who were visiting from Mississippi this weekend when Lucy experienced the “biggest snowfall she’s ever seen.” Naturally, Lutz wanted to make it special for the visiting women.   Continue reading “Driver attempts to destroy giant snowman, not realizing it’s built on a large tree trunk”

Influential Zionist historian Benny Morris, professor of the Middle East studies department of the Israeli Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, has foreseen a bleak future for the Zionist establishment.

“Already today there are more Arabs than Jews between the [Mediterranean] sea and the Jordan. The whole territory is unavoidably becoming one state with an Arab majority,” said Morris in an interview published by the Israeli Haaretz newspaper on Thursday.   Continue reading “‘Jewish state’ will soon cease to exist, Israelis may flee to West: Zionist historian”

In what looks to be a highly ambitious and even more highly cost prohibitive scheme, President Trump has announced his intention to greatly expand US missile defense systems, with a major focus on putting them in space.

During his announcement Thursday at the Pentagon, Trump set out his goals, saying that he wants “to ensure that we can detect and destroy any missile launched against the United States – anywhere, anytime, anyplace.”    Continue reading “Trump Announces US Will Develop Space-Based Missile Defense”

One of France’s most vocal antisemites, Alain Soral, was sentenced to a year in prison by a criminal court in Paris on Thursday, after he was found guilty of inciting racial hatred in an article that described Jews as “manipulative, domineering and hateful.”

The offending article was published last March on Soral’s playfully-titled Égalité et Réconciliation (“Equality and Reconciliation”) website — an online home for antisemitic, extreme nationalist and anti-capitalist activists and writers.   Continue reading “French Court Sentences Antisemite Alain Soral to One-Year Prison Term for Incitement”

The largest single group of asylum seekers ever to cross into the U.S. tunneled beneath the border wall near San Luis, Arizona, on Monday, voluntarily turning themselves into Customs and Border Protection, according to the agency.

Migrants can be seen marching toward Border Patrol agents by the hundreds, according to video obtained by ABC News. Smugglers dug a series of seven holes, only a few feet long beneath the steel border fence, with hundreds going beneath the wall and a smaller number clambering over it, according to CBP.   Continue reading “Largest single group of migrants ever tunnels under border wall in Arizona, says Border Protection”

Feeding your family when you’re flat broke isn’t easy but it can be done.  What would you do if you suddenly need to prepare for a lean month ahead on a tight budget? Imagine you only had $400 or so to purchase all food and essentials for your whole family for a month. How would you cover the necessities?

This is a question on a lot of people’s minds right now. Most – if not all – states are paying out February’s SNAP food benefits early to make sure that folks have something to eat during the month ahead. As well, as the government shutdown continues, 800,000 federal employees will also continue to be without a paycheck.   Continue reading “How to Feed Your Family When You’re Flat Broke”

The Oregon Legislature isn’t even in session yet, but already lawmakers are toying with some pretty draconian gun control proposals. That would include SB 501, which reads like a grab bag of all the latest gun control ideas, turned up to 11.

The bill would require a person to obtain a license in order to own a gun, keep said gun locked and secured in the home once acquired, and submit to a background check anytime they buy ammunition for it.   Continue reading “Oregon Considers Toughest Gun Restrictions in the Country”

A federal appeals court on Wednesday rejected an effort by three major U.S. cities to require the Pentagon to be more vigilant about reporting service members who were disqualified from owning weapons to a national background check system.

By a 3-0 vote, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said it lacked jurisdiction to compel the Department of Defense to fix what New York City, Philadelphia and San Francisco called a “broken” system, or to supervise improvements to the Pentagon’s “partial and inconsistent reporting.”   Continue reading “Court rejects U.S. cities’ appeal over Pentagon gun check flaws”

Who even watches the political based news anymore? It is unreal to see how far left, the left has gone. It is hard to comprehend how people can actually believe the things I am hearing on the television. Yesterday, we were in a public place and a TV was right next to us, ol MSNBC was on…

They were talking about and showing video how President Trump signaled at a table to Putin and then pumped his fist in the air. Trump was trying to get Putin’s attention.  Continue reading “MSNBC Portrays Trump’s Fist Pump To Putin As Crime”

In a staunch and unequivocal defense of how Chicago police handled Laquan McDonald’s murder, a Cook County judge acquitted three officers Thursday of charges alleging they conspired to justify the shooting by falsifying reports and claiming the teen was the aggressor.

At every point in her hourlong ruling, Associate Judge Domenica Stephenson endorsed the actions of the police on the night McDonald was shot by Officer Jason Van Dyke, calling the 17-year-old an erratic, armed assailant who ignored commands to drop a small knife. She also said it would be wrong to second-guess the actions of the police — including Van Dyke, who is scheduled to be sentenced Friday for his historic conviction for second-degree murder and 16 counts of aggravated battery.   Continue reading “Judge acquits 3 Chicago cops of covering up Laquan McDonald’s killing, backing police on each disputed point”
