The global pandemic lockdowns and social distancing regulations have produced many new controversial firsts, leading to both disputes between citizens and law enforcement, and among people often wrangling with each other over things like mask wearing or proximity, or even the ability to have gatherings at a park.

New arrivals to Singapore won’t necessarily have to quarantine at a government facility during the pandemic – some, including residents, will receive an electronic monitoring device that will alert authorities if they leave home.
Singapore announced on Monday that it will track incoming travelers coming from a select group of countries – including residents and citizens – with electronic monitoring devices, starting on August 11. As TFTP previously reported, horrifying surveillance footage was released showing multiple police officers aggressively assaulting and torturing a disabled man in his front yard after they dragged him from his home during a welfare check. That footage led to the arrest of three police officers, one of whom was arrested again for beating a teenager as well.

BEIRUT (AP) — A massive explosion rocked Beirut on Tuesday, flattening much of the city’s port, damaging buildings across the capital and sending a giant mushroom cloud into the sky. More than 70 people were killed and 3,000 injured, with bodies buried in the rubble, officials said.
It was not clear what caused the blast, which struck with the force of a 3.5 magnitude earthquake, according to Germany’s geosciences center GFZ, and was heard and felt as far away as Cyprus more than 200 kilometers (180 miles) across the Mediterranean. The world is facing a “generational catastrophe” due to ongoing school closures, U.N. Secretary General António Guterres warned Tuesday, calling the coronavirus pandemic “the largest disruption of education ever.”
Allowing students to safely return to classrooms must be a “top priority” as countries get local transmission under control, Guterres said in a video message released early Tuesday morning. The mask fanatics are getting more aggressive and assaulting, and even murdering, non-maskers nationwide. In CA an insane masked woman threw hot coffee in a guy’s face who was simply eating lunch with his friend. Another insane obese masked couple was caught on video assaulting shoppers in Wal-Mart. A masked woman in a supermarket screamed “I HOPE YOU ALL DIE!” to a young mother with little children last week. My friend in San Francisco was accosted by a maniacal masked freak in an elevator a few days ago. He caught it on video. I had a Fosters Freeze shake-maker tell me she has a right to all my private medical info 3 days ago. A Los Angeles security guard has been charged with murder for killing a grocery store customer for not wearing a mask. These masked maniacs are getting completely out of control. Bakersfield, CA — Child predator police officers are an unfortunate and all too common reality in the land of the free. On a near daily basis, cops across the country are busted for horrifying acts against children. Highlighting the severe nature of this problem is the fact that two law enforcement employees in the same town have just been arrested in a child sex sting.
An employee with the California Corrections department and a California Highway Patrol officer were two out of 15 people arrested during an undercover operation targeting online child predators, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Special Victim’s Unit. The owner of a Cuban restaurant in Louisville has decried a list of ‘diversity demands sent to him and dozens of other small business owners by Black Lives Matter activists – which include guaranteeing that at least 23% of staff are black, 23% of the business’s supplies are from black-owned retailers, and 1.5% of their net sales go to black charities.
