Almost lost in the distractions of the holiday weekend, on the night of December 29 up to 400 mostly Cuban migrants forced their way past Mexican immigration and over payment turnstiles on the Paso del Norte Bridge from Ciudad Juarez with a desire to force their way into downtown El Paso, Texas, according to news reporting. (Some video of the attempted incursion is here and here.)

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Mobile Field Force officers met them in riot gear and used concrete blocks tipped by concertina wire to block the onslaught mid-bridge as many of the migrants chanted “Biden! Biden!” Many demanded they be let in to live in the United States while they pursue asylum claims, instead of waiting in Mexico as required under various policies of President Donald Trump. Last Sunday my church was closed. All services in my diocese have been closed at the order of my Bishop who is worried about so many people testing positive for covid.

I would not worry about PCR tests telling us that we have coronavirus. An Austrian member of their parliament recently tested coca-cola live on his parliament floor and it was positive. In Europe a clinical association said that PCR tests are recommended at 17 cycles to amplify the DNA found in the swab to determine the presence of the coronavirus. The state of Florida requires labs to state the number of cycle amplifications when they give a PCR test. At 35 cycles 97% of all tests are positive. The CDC recommends 40 cycles of amplification. Seems someone in the CDC is trying to panic the public with false positives.  Continue reading “An Open Letter To My Bishop On The Great Reset”

As coronavirus cases surge nationwide, the flu has seen a remarkable dip. Reported cases of influenza reached record lows last week, with fewer than 40 diagnoses recorded during Dec. 13-19.

In week 51 of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “FluView” data monitoring system, 36 positive flu tests were documented. This marks a steep decrease from last year’s total of 7,703 cases during the same time frame. The positivity rate has sharply declined this calendar year as only 0.10% of tests taken this year came back positive. The five-year average is 15.80% positive.
