The Bill of Rights was created to protect citizens from potential abuses committed by their government. The Second Amendment was created to provide a means for those citizens to defend themselves.
Plenty of movies and novels have played out the grandiose scenario in which some form of martial law is declared in the U.S. by the government or an invading force (like in the 80s cult classic Red Dawn) often resulting in a post-apocalyptic or dystopian society, so we don’t have to go there. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump on Wednesday accused China and Europe of playing a “big currency manipulation game.” He said the United States should match that effort, a move that directly contradicts official U.S. policy not to manipulate the dollar’s value to gain trade advantages.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — A woman has been found dead in the remains of a home leveled by a fire and explosion in North Carolina’s largest city.

England: 5G technology was installed at Glastonbury Music Festival this year by wireless carrier EE, in partnership with Cisco, Microsoft, and the BBC, as part of a governmental agenda called 5G Rural First that purports to be about giving better internet access to country dwellers. An activist recorded EMF frequencies around the site, and while EE and British Telecom promised to keep the voltage of their 5G EMF pulses to around 3.0 Ghz, it was recorded going up as high as 6.0 Ghz, double the amount promised by EE. People reportedly went to medical stations with headaches, nose bleeds, stinging eyes and digestive issues – all classic symptoms of EMF radiation poisoning.A group of 230 doctors and scientists have warned that 5G health effects include increased cancer risk, cellular stress, harmful free radicals, genetic damages, structural and functional changes to the reproductive system, learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders, and negative impacts on general well-being.
Congress is weighing up a bipartisan bill to crack down on the sharing of child porn on Defense Department computers after a watchdog group found the Pentagon’s network ranked among the top US ISPs for sharing the vile content.
“The notion that the Department of Defense’s network and Pentagon-issued computers may be used to view, create, or circulate such horrifying images is a shameful disgrace, and one we must fight head on,” Abigail Spanberger (D-Virginia) said in a statement on Tuesday as she and co-sponsor Mark Meadows (R-N. Lobbyists working for thousands of Indian contract workers are promising to overwhelm GOP Sen. Rand Paul’s opposition to a bill which puts many Indian temporary workers on a fast-track to permanent green cards.
“We have lots and lots of doctors in Kentucky, both in Louisville and in Lexington, and in other cities around Kentucky, who can all express how important this bill is to them, and how they literally can’t afford to be doctors anymore,” said Leon Fresco, a former congressional staffer who is quarterbacking the contract workers’ campaign for green cards. The California legislature has approved legislation that will be signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom to set up an educational system that will use big data to track children from “cradle to career.”
Senate Bill 75 was approved by a vote of 31-7 in the Senate and 62-14 in the Assembly. It will create a “longitudinal” data system that profiles and manipulates pupils from the earliest of ages so they are guided into a career determined by the central planners. One Florida Democrat is proving just how far government officials are willing to go to squash free speech. Frederica Wilson says lawmakers should make a law protecting themselves from jokes…and no, this is no joke.
On Tuesday, Wilson went with other members of Congress to tour a detention facility for illegal immigrants. During a press conference following the tour, Wilson made a rather interesting comment. Israel is preparing to potentially intervene in any possible military clash in the Gulf region as tensions between the U.S. and Iran continue to escalate, a top Israeli official said Tuesday.
“It should be taken into account that mistaken calculations by the (Iranian) regime … are liable to bring about a shift from the ‘gray zone’ to the ‘red zone’ – that is, a military conflagration,” Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said during a speech at a conference, according to Reuters. Woodford County Emergency Management Director Drew Chandler tells WKYT two barrel warehouses at a Jim Beam aging facility caught fire around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Washington Post reports the National Park Service is diverting nearly $2.5 million in entrance and recreation fees primarily intended to improve parks across the country to cover costs associated with President Donald Trump’s Independence Day celebration on the Mall.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law suspending the Cold War-era INF Treaty. Putin announced in February that he would halt participation in the treaty after Washington’s abrupt decision to pull out of the agreement.
The Trump administration announced last October that the US would pull out of the treaty which has been a cornerstone of European security since its signing in 1987. A Las Vegas police officer who ‘froze with fear’ on his way to Stephen Paddock’s door as he rained down bullets on concert-goers from the Mandalay Hotel has been fired.
The police department confirmed yesterday veteran officer Cordell Hendrex was fired in March, with a union chief saying it was because of his actions during the October 1, 2017 shooting.
