For the first time in our nation’s history, voters in 24 counties in W. Virginia will be able to vote using their mobile phones. While some are hailing the decision because it will make voting easier for members of the military deployed overseas, experts are warning of possible security breaches.

“After researching previously available options, the Secretary’s team identified that most electronic ballot delivery technology required access to a desktop computer, printer and scanner, all of which present significant barriers to overseas voters, especially those in combat zones or engaged in covert operations,” the W. Virginia Secretary of State’s office explained in a press release this week. The state is partnering with a Boston, Massachusetts-based company called Voatz, Inc.

If a device connects wirelessly to other things, chances are high that it has an antenna in it. But as crucial as these components are, the rigid metals they’re made of can limit what devices they can be built into. To help with that, researchers at Drexel University have developed a new kind of antenna that can be sprayed onto just about any surface.

The antenna is made up of an incredibly thin, metallic material known as “MXene” (pronounced “Maxine”). This stuff is a two-dimensional form of titanium carbide that’s highly conductive, which allows it to transmit and direct radio waves.

Mr. Woods,

It’s my pleasure to write to you as an American National who seeks to reinstate our Bill of Rights, as originally set forth by our founding fathers, Articles 1 thru 10 respectably. As an American National, I see my country being flushed down the toilet by enemies from Israel who are bent on the destruction of American ideals, for nothing more than world dominance, with a one world governance, usurping everything American patriots have fought for over a period of hundreds of years.   Continue reading “Mark Schumacher’s letter to James Woods sent certified mail”

When President Donald Trump rolls up to the United Nations to speak to the Security Council today he’ll have an unprecedented level of security of his own.

On Sunday, the Secret Service flew into New York City with the newest in a long series of specially designed presidential limousines. Like its predecessor, which came into service during Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration, the new limo goes by the nickname, The Beast. And considering it weighs in at somewhere near 20,000 pounds, that’s clearly appropriate.  Continue reading “Trump’s new limo cost $1.5M and comes with a fridge of his blood type”

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) was ordered to register as an Israeli foreign agent on November 21, 1962 when it was part of the American Zionist Council. AIPAC has never complied with the order, and the Department of Justice has never enforced it. AIPAC’s associated think tank, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP) was spun off from AIPAC as a survival tactic during a 1980s FBI investigation into AIPAC over economic espionage that produced America’s worst-performing bilateral trade agreement. Incredibly, decades later both organizations appeared to want to get into law enforcement and were instrumental lobbying President George W. Bush for the 2004 launch of the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (OTFI) Treasury unit. (See Washington Institute for Near East Affairs congressional testimony in support of the creation of OTFI to be headed by Stuart Levey)   Continue reading “Treasury Sanctions Foreigners for Israel”

A team of would-be ghostbusters have developed a device to measure the ‘exposome’ – an invisible and somewhat spooky cloud that orbits every human. It is populated by bacteria and viruses, and may change how we view medicine.

“For years we’ve been sequencing people’s genomes, testing their blood and urine, and analyzing the microbes in their guts to understand how these things impact human health,” geneticist and lead author of the researchMichael Snyder from Stanford University told Wired. “But all of those things have to do with what’s inside your body. The one big thing we’re missing is: What are you exposed to?”   Continue reading “Scientists measure creepy, invisible clouds that orbit every human being on Earth”

Campus Reform – by Grace Gottschling

Student ambassadors at Cornell University were given an “orientation packet” ahead of welcoming the incoming freshman class. The packet contains a sheet of categories labeling certain groups as having “privilege” or being “oppressed.”

Campus Reform obtained a copy of the document from a concerned student who felt the content was inappropriate. The sheet outlines social issues and designates certain demographics as privileged or oppressed in a “U.S. Context.” The 15 categories range from gender identity to martial/parental status, education level, and “use of English.”  Continue reading “Cornell tells students if they are ‘privileged’ or ‘oppressed’”
