The Defense Logistics Agency has 25,000 employees and processes 100,000 orders a day from the military and other federal agencies, for everything from food and fuel to maps and medical supplies.
According to Politico, the $40 billion-a-year logistics agency failed to document construction projects worth $800 million in 2016 alone, raising serious questions about the ongoing audit of the Pentagon that is scheduled to be completed this year. A Colorado sheriff’s deputy and a suspect were killed and four others, including three law enforcement officers, were wounded on Monday in a shooting that sprang from an auto theft investigation, officials said.
Officers from three Colorado agencies investigating an auto theft were confronted by a man at an apartment complex in Colorado Springs about 4 p.m., Colorado Springs Police Chief Pete Carey said at a press conference. On February 5, Smithsonian magazine published a column to prove gun control existed in the Wild West and inadvertently demonstrated that gun control failed then, in Tombstone, Arizona, as it does now, in Chicago, Illinois.

Three current and former Calgary police officers engaged in a two-year “campaign of harassment” against a Calgary mother with the goal of getting her to give up her parental rights during a bitter custody battle, according to the prosecution at the start of a four-week corruption trial.

The Philippines stated on Friday that the anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia may be connected to three deaths in the country, according to a government-ordered inquiry, and that the drug is not ready for mass immunization.
Sanofi the drug maker revealed in November that Dengvaxia – the world’s first dengue vaccine – might increase the risk of severe disease in people who had never been exposed to the virus. This news aroused an uproar in the Philippines, where more than 800,000 school-age children had been vaccinated with the drug in 2016 alone. Three hundred U.S.-bound Central Americans migrants, including dozens of children, were found over the weekend inside two trucks in Mexico without proper ventilation or enough food or water.
Mexico’s National Institute of Migration, known as INM, informed that 198 migrants from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador were found Saturday morning inside a truck as they were being transported in the state of Tamaulipas, border with Texas. The Trump tax cuts kicked on February 1st. Now all those middle class workers receiving their installments on their $2000 yearly tax break have just seen their retirements and 401ks in the Nasdaq take a 273 point hit. Michael Ron David Kadar, the dual American-Israeli Jew who was behind thousands of bomb threats against Jewish community Center in America and elsewhere 2017—all falsely blamed in “anti-Semites” by the ADL and other Jewish Supremacists—briefly escaped from custody today while appearing in a Jerusalem District Court.
