The Justice Department, along with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), today announced the nationwide rollout of the National Blue Alert Network, including newly developed deliverables and federal interagency cooperation to enhance the safety and support of America’s law enforcement officers. Under implementation by the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office), the National Blue Alert Network promotes rapid dissemination of information to law enforcement, the media and the public about violent offenders who have killed, seriously injured or pose an imminent threat to law enforcement, or when an officer is missing in connection with official duties. WEB Notes: This is truly disturbing, Christianity is/has being ripped from this nation. The young man cannot say a prayer at the graduation ceremony? Why is this offensive? If you do not believe in God, then his speech means nothing to you. No harm done. That has never been the point. The point has always been to remove God from the public arena. Why? Without God the people are more easily controlled by what men say as they do not have a guiding light in their path. Without God we have no direction. Without God anything goes as there is no moral compass. This young man cannot say a prayer, but drag queens can indoctrinate our children in our public tax payer funded libraries. This is insanity, the higher degree of insanity is why do we still allow it?

Judge Young Min Burkett has 90 days to become a citizen.

DENVER (AP) – Colorado’s governor on Friday pardoned a Cuban immigrant for an armed robbery he committed 19 years ago in an effort stave off the man’s deportation after immigration authorities detained him following a judge’s ruling that he should no longer be imprisoned.
The pardon from Gov. John Hickenlooper, a Democrat, was the latest twist in the saga of Rene Lima-Marin, 38. He came to the U.S. as a toddler as part of the 1980 Mariel boat lift from Cuba and had legal residency until it was revoked following his 2000 criminal conviction. Lima-Marin was sentenced to 98 years in prison for the robbery. But he was mistakenly paroled from Colorado state prison in 2008. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis is crediting changes in tactics ordered by President Trump for increasing the pressure on the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, and leaving the beleaguered fighters with no avenue of escape.

Politico reports the president’s eldest daughter-turned-White House assistant and senior adviser needed a rabbi’s permission to travel this weekend, taking into account the weekly Shabbat holiday they usually observe as part of their Orthodox Judaism practice. The government in Italy has ruled that children must be vaccinated against 12 common illnesses before they can enrol for state-run schools.
Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni blamed a decrease in vaccinations in part on a “spread of anti-scientific theories”.

Police in Colorado released body camera footage Wednesday from an officer-involved shooting that occurred Friday. Video from the Littleton Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office showed a deputy being attacked by a driver after he attempted to offer assistance to the car parked on the side of the road.
The driver attacked Deputy Brad Proulx with the butt of a gun after the officer went to help him. The body camera recording showed Proulx approaching the vehicle on the passenger side first before moving toward the driver’s side when the driver got out of the car wielding a rifle.
