Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has congratulated Donald Trump on his shock election win, saying the reality TV star can help enhance relations with the Asian country.

Duterte, who infamously told President Obama to ‘go to Hell’ last month, has often expressed his outrage with his administration.

Having repeatedly threatened to end his nation’s alliance with Washington, he is said to be ‘looking forward to working with the incoming administration’.   Continue reading “Philippines’ President Duterte Congratulates Trump”

Holding signs reading “Not our president” and defiantly chanting Wednesday morning, thousands of students spilled out of East Bay high schools, taking to the streets in anti-Donald Trump protests — the latest round of action across the Bay Area following the New York billionaire’s election to the highest office in the land.

A wave of students rushed out of Berkeley High School around 9 a.m. and met near the school’s theater along Allston Way before the throng of young people were joined by several teachers in a march to the UC Berkeley campus.   Continue reading “Thousands of East Bay students walk out following Trump election”

Voters in California, Massachusetts and Nevada approved recreational marijuana initiatives Tuesday night, and several other states passed medical marijuana provisions, in what is turning out to be the biggest electoral victory for marijuana reform since 2012, when Colorado and Washington first approved the drug’s recreational use.

In addition to the states above, local outlets in Maine are declaring victory for that state’s legalization measure, but with 91 percent of precincts reporting just a few thousand votes separate the “Yes” and “No” columns.   Continue reading “Marijuana wins big on election night”

Trump’s been installed, predictably enough, and millions of angry Americans have breathed a sigh of relief, in the erroneous belief that things will now be better, or at least different.

Unfortunately, your country is still being looted, your Bill of Rights is still being trampled, and the invasion of illegal aliens isn’t going to stop.   Continue reading “Installation Instructions”

Nevada, California and Washington all voted in favor of enhanced gun control on Tuesday, while Maine narrowly rejected universal background checks for private gun sales despite millions of dollars spent there by national gun control advocates.

Maine’s rejection of the gun control ballot measure, and the narrow support for a similar measure in Nevada, showed the limits of well-funded national organizations pushing for expanded background checks around the country. Voters in Maine defeated a measure that would’ve expanded background checks to private gun sales and transfers or loans to friends. Polls showed support for the referendum before the vote; the measure had strong backing from Everytown for Gun Safety, a gun control group funded by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg that spent more than $5 million in the state.

The Nevada ballot measure that would expand background checks to private gun sales and transfers passed by a thin margin on Tuesday night.

The “Yes” vote on Question 1, which would require in-person background checks for all guns sold among friends, online and at gun shows, was approved by a 50.45 percent to 49.55 percent margin.

WATERBURY, Vt. — Vermont gun retailer Henry Parro is under fire from an unexpected source — his own insurer.

For those fighting and dying there – only Death is real. For the American people, Middle East Terrorism is a total fabrication.

A standard definition of War is that it is “a conflict carried on by force of arms”

We all know the old face of war in the classical days, where two sides in different coloured uniforms lined up and charged at each other until the sun set. Whoever had the most soldiers standing at the end of the day was the winner and they took over the territory of the losers. It was all about territory and redrawing borders.   Continue reading “America’s Wars in The Middle East Are Not ‘Wars on Terror,’ They Are Conventional Wars of Aggression”
