Next we require the newly un-insured to be re-insured. White House adviser John Podesta told reporters Monday afternoon that Congress could not derail the Obama administration’s efforts to unilaterally enact policies to fight global warming.

NEAR RICHLAND, WA – Hanford union workers tell NBC Right Now there was an explosion at the plutonium finishing plant cleanup site weeks ago, but the event wasn’t shared with the public.

The Hanford union representative says it happened when workers were cutting some pipe as part of the demolition of the Plutonium Finishing Plant.

The union representative wants to remain anonymous and says workers are concerned management isn’t putting worker safety first.

A family in New Jersey was in for quite the surprise when it went to pick out a new pooch after its beloveddog ‘Reckless’ was lost in Hurricane Sandy. News 12 New Jersey has the story:

‘A dog and his family are reunited 15 months after Sandy. Chuck and Elicia James of Kingsburg say they gave up hope of ever seeing their pit bull mix again. … They decided it was time to get a new dog and went to the Monmouth County SPCA.’
