A man has died after being shot by Lynn police in a struggle.

The Essex County District Attorney’s office announced the man’s death and identified him as 30-year-old Denis Reynoso of Lynn. The DA’s office said it is investigating the shooting as is protocol.

On September 6th Andy Borowitz, writing for The New Yorker, published an article titled  G20 ENDS ABRUPTLY AS OBAMA CALLS PUTIN A JACKASS which has caused quite a stir on social media. He claimed that U.S. President Barack Obama went on a name calling tirade, hurling insults at his Russian nemesis Vladimir Putin.

The article is pure satire but from the activity I’ve witnessed on facebook and twitter, many people are under the impression that it’s fact and that’s a shame because nothing could be further from the truth. How do I know this? Retired Army Gen. David H. Petraeus, former CIA director under President Barack Obama, called strongly Saturday for Congress to back the White House on Syria, declaring that military action against the regime is “necessary” to deter “Iran, North Korea and other would-be aggressors.”

NEW YORK/LONDON, Sept 6 (Reuters) – U.S. authorities are investigating British drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline for violations of U.S. anti-bribery laws in China after Chinese government officials accused the company of bribing doctors, a company spokesman confirmed on Friday.

The mother of a kindergarten boy in Kansas City received a citation for criminal assault because, police say, she inflicted a vicious beatdown on the boy’s teacher.

The pummeling occurred on Thursday night at Truman Elementary School. Simone A. This past Saturday a San Antonio man was shot and killed by an off duty cop after both vehicles pulled to the side of the road for some unknown reason, most likely a minor traffic incident.  The victim of the attack was an unarmed 29 year old man named Matthew Jackson.
