A local Brooksville business, American Gun and Pawn, has gotten a bizarre letter from Suntrust Bank which is where the company has a checking account. The owner of American Gun and Pawn, Steve Champion, was shocked when he received the certified letter.

Unbelievably, the letter states that American Gun and Pawn is not a business that Suntrust Bank wants to do business with and gives them only ten days to close the account or it will be closed for them. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana’s Republican legislative leaders have unveiled changes to the state’s new religious objections law that has faced criticism it could allow discrimination against lesbians and gays.

The amendment to the Religious Freedom Restoration Act released Thursday prohibits service providers from using the law as a legal defense for refusing to provide services, goods, facilities or accommodations. After eight straight days of high-level diplomatic negotiations between the six world powers and Iran, negotiators in Lausanne, Switzerland, announced an interim agreement has been reached on the principles for dismantling Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for lifting heavy economic sanctions.

To facilitate the often treacherous process of entering the United States illegally through the southern border, the Obama administration is offering free transportation from three Central American countries and a special refugee/parole program with “resettlement assistance” and permanent residency.

Under the new initiative the administration has rebranded the official name it originally assigned to the droves of illegal immigrant minors who continue sneaking into the U.S. They’re no longer known as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), a term that evidently was offensive and not politically correct enough for the powerful open borders movement. MEXICO CITY –  A fire at a shallow-water oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico has killed four workers, injured 16 and forced the evacuation of 300, Mexico’s state-owned oil company said Wednesday.

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) — Dog wardens were fanning out across municipalities in Montgomery County this week, checking to make sure dog owners have obtained licenses for their pets.

Yesterday, when Massey arrived at the courthouse, there were about twenty agents in battle gear and a number of DHS Suburbans parked in front of the courthouse. After going in to the courthouse, he had to visit the Pre-Trial Services. There, he was approached by two agents who wanted to see his sunglasses. They inspected them, thoroughly, and then returned them to Massey. I suppose this is the future — what we can expect because of Google-Glasses. The residents of about a dozen US states received a scare when an ominous message rolled across their TV screens announcing an ‘emergency alert’ with the names of their states – without any explanation or further information.
