U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry demanded on Wednesday that Russia and the Syrian government immediately halt flights over Syrian battle zones, in what he called a last chance to salvage a collapsing ceasefire and find a way “out of the carnage”.
An impassioned Kerry faced off with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the U.N. Security Council in New York, during a tense televised showdown, saying the bombing of an aid convoy in Syria raised “profound doubt whether Russia and the Assad regime can or will live up to” ceasefire obligations. Reports have identified the suspect responsible for stabbing nine people at the Crossroads Center mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota as Dahir Adan, a recent immigrant from Somalia.

An all-Navy message sent out Tuesday says that all sailors will be required to undergo transgender behavioral education by July 2017.
Starting Nov. 1, the training will educate sailors about the Navy’s new transgender policy that allows transgenders to serve in the military, Military.com reported.

A class-action lawsuit alleges that customers paid higher milk and dairy prices because farmers – both big and small — slaughtered more than 500,000 cattle under an agreement with the National Milk Producers Federation. A commercial showing Miracle Mattress manager Cherise Bonanno standing in front of two other employees in front of stacks of mattresses relies heavily on Twin Tower references. Dozens of birds have fallen from the sky above Boston and died, leaving health inspectors scratching their heads.
City health officials are investigating what caused a total of 47 birds, 12 of which were saved by animal rescuers, to become ill and die suddenly.
