Well, what they, like many other leftist news outlets, are upset about is that the illegal aliens in question were “profiled”. Nowhere within this piece by the NY Times Editorial Board do they mention that the two men in question were illegally in the country.   Continue reading “NY Times Very Upset That Illegal Aliens Were Detained And Deported”

Summertime cookouts are about to look a lot different to many people who will undoubtedly switch out brats, burgers, and steaks for chicken, pork, or even portabella mushrooms. The World Health Organization (WHO) is reportedly planning to classify red meat, bacon, sausages and other processed meats as “probably carcinogenic to humans.”

That means that some of the world’s favorite foods will soon be in the same classification as cigarettes, alcohol, and asbestos. Red meat is likely to be ranked as only slightly less hazardous than preserved meats. [1]   Continue reading “WHO Set to Classify Red Meat, Processed Meats as “Probably Carcinogenic””

Israel wanted to send commandos to break into the Fordo nuclear facility in Iran and sabotage it from the inside, WSJ reports. The US considered it a suicide mission and refused to sell Israel military hardware that could be used in such a raid.

The episode, dating back to 2012, is part of a developing crisis of confidence that Israel and the US plunged into under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama. The Wall Street Journal says relations started deteriorating in 2009, when Netanyahu met Obama in the White House and started briefing reporters immediately without coordinating with the Americans.   Continue reading “US rejected Israeli request for hardware to raid Iranian nuclear facility – report”

When Francisco Javier Chavez posted bail on charges of beating a California toddler within an inch of her life in late July, there was little reason to expect the illegal immigrant, who has spent much of his adult life hopping back and forth across the Mexican border, would return to face justice.

Two weeks later, at his scheduled arraignment on Aug. 13, Chavez was a no-show. The 27-year-old career criminal had put up $10,000, or 10 percent of the amount set for his alleged crimes by California’s bail schedule. His disappearance is hardly a surprise to critics who believe violent illegal immigrants are, by definition, flight risks who should be denied bail in such serious cases. They say judges, especially in border states plagued by illegal immigrant crime, are naive or worse if they expect suspects who regularly cross in and out of Mexico to take the U.S. justice system seriously.   Continue reading “‘Obvious flight risk’: Toddler’s brutal beating prompts call to withhold bail from illegal immigrants”

Americans already pay more for pharmaceutical drugs than almost any other nation, and we also take the lion’s share of them, though our overall health as a nation is relatively poor. Do we really need a Big Pharma insider as the chief of the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA)? That is just what may happen.

President Obama has nominated Dr. Robert Califf, a doctor described as “the ultimate industry insider” to this position. According to the New York Times, Dr. Califf “has deeper ties to the pharmaceutical industry than any F.D.A. commissioner in recent memory.” He has an extensive record of close collaboration with pharmaceutical giants, and recently described regulation as a “barrier,” not a safeguard for public health.   Continue reading “Will Obama Name This Big Pharma Insider as Head of the FDA?”

The main reason why Japan has been able to successfully push the 2011 Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster far out of the public eye, is for the simple reason that the tragic fallout from said disaster would take many years to materialize: after all, it takes a long time between the initial irradiation to the first cancer symptoms, to the sad terminal outcome.

However, for the biggest, and most criminal, cover up by a Japanese government in recent history, the irradiated chickens are coming home to roost and earlier today Japan finally acknowledged the first “possible casualty” from radiation at the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant, a worker who was diagnosed with cancer after the crisis broke out in 2011.   Continue reading “Japan’s Fukushima Lies Blow Up With Admission Of First Radiation Cancer Casualty”
