In this modern-day, it is sometimes easy to forget that the global community is still at odds with itself. An example of this is the fact that the history books state that the Cold War is over, but yet the U.S. and Russia are still quite weary of each other and for good reasons.

It was not that long ago, 2010, when the FBI released that Operation Ghost Stories resulted in the arrests of 10 deep-cover Russian spies.   Continue reading “Are Russian Dome Antennas in US a Threat to National Security?”

civil war 2The Common Sense Show – by Dave Hodges

I remember as a young child that the key to winning a lot of the neighborhood games in football and basketball was all about who got picked first. If you were lucky enough to get Michael on your team, then you knew you were going to win. If you were in a foreign park playing against kids you did not know, Michael was the great equalizer. I also knew that getting the right kids on my side helped in spelling bees and walking home from the movies so I didn’t get beat up. Learning how to organize my team with the right people, served me well when I became a men’s college head basketball coach in terms of winning the recruiting wars. I always felt the April recruiting wars was the deciding factor in many games in the following December.   Continue reading “The Sides Are Forming for the Coming Civil War”

MY THOUGHTS

Get ready for a bumpy ride.  The Democrats have stopped a century old practice by disallowing the filibuster.  The reason the founding fathers wanted the filibuster is to allow the minority to slow down dictatorial powers of the executive.  The US Senate confirms lifelong judges, and the founding fathers new that a Senate without a filibuster will create a dictatorship.

The House of Representatives do not have a filibuster, but whatever they pass must be approved by the US Senate.  However, the US Senate has certain privileges that the House does not.  Therefore, the US Senate can now work with the Democratic administration to legislate rules to the economy without Republican support.    Continue reading “Get ready for a bumpy ride”

police brutalityThe Daily Sheeple – by Lily Dane

An Atlantic City police officer says he received a death threat after reporting police misconduct to his superiors.

Sergeant Mark Benjamin has been with the department for 16 years. He’s witnessed his fair share of misconduct, including seeing an officer release a K9 on a person for no reason. Benjamin said after he reported the misconduct, he became a target of racial discrimination and retaliation:   Continue reading “Honest Cop Breaks Blue Code of Silence, Receives Death Threat”
