Chinese flags line Pennsylvania Avenue as a big black limousine carrying China’s President (dictator) Hu Jintao passed by on its way to a red carpet reception at the White House being hosted by America’s communist dictator, President Barry Soetoro.  During this decidedly un-American spectacle, Hu was shown an example of our government’s love for our Constitution as a company of soldiers dressed in 18th century British uniforms paraded before him.  Who won that war?  Obviously the British did.  Or maybe the red coats suited the communist dictator better than our colonial blue would have.

Once again President Soetoro, acting on the behalf of all Americans, bowed before a foreign leader.  This visit from Hu is being sold to the American people as some sort of summit.  It is not.  Hu came to the United States for one purpose and that was to instruct Soetoro as to how he wants his real estate to be managed.  Unfortunately for the American people Hu’s real estate happens to be our country.

Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in Washington D.C. Tuesday.  He has apparently come to negotiate the United States’ surrender to the Chinese economy.  Hu Jintao was met with all the pomp and circumstance only afforded to royalty.  It was reported that all the regalia was designed to show the Chinese people China’s strength in America.

Newscast after newscast depicted the strength of China’s armed forces which have seen a 464% rise in funding.  Experts are saying China is gearing its military to fight and win a war against the United States.

The Haitian people were shocked to find out the dictator, Jean-Claude “Baby Doc” Duvalier they had exiled 25 years ago had returned.  Duvalier fled Haiti literally ahead of the hangman’s noose.  He had been running a dictatorship left to him by his father, Papa Doc, which consisted of secret police, secret arrests, rape, and murder.  The Haitian people are quite logically asking what the hell he is doing there.

Duvalier’s arrival in Haiti coincides with disputed election returns occurring in the wake of the devastating earthquake and cholera outbreak.  Reports make it unclear as to why the French government allowed Duvalier to leave his exile there to return to Haiti.

Refrigerated fish trucks are being used to store unidentified bodies in Brazil after floods and mudslides that are being described as the worst natural disaster in that nation’s history.  It is reported that the morgues are overwhelmed and in many areas the people have resorted to burying their own dead, while many are in fear that relatives remain buried in the mud resulting from the catastrophe.

Save the Children is reporting that up to half of the victims are children.

Brazil’s new President Dilma Rousseff has visited some of the hardest hit areas and has promised aid, though it has been slow in materializing.  The slow response by the government is perpetuating anger among the survivors.  The federal government has earmarked 780 million reais in emergency aid and donations are starting to pour in from around the country.

Tunisia’s President Zine al Abidine Ben Ali fled his country on Friday amid rioting.  Ben Ali is described as a ruthless dictator who has exercised authority over the Tunisian people for the past 23 years.  The riots were apparently sparked last month when the government seized a vegetable cart from a vender who set himself on fire in the middle of the street in protest.

It is reported that Tunisia’s work force has been expanding as the jobs available there have been disappearing.  This coupled with out of control food prices has apparently pushed the Tunisian people beyond their limits.  A state of emergency and curfew have been declared and a makeshift government led by the ineffectual prime minister, Mohammed Ghannouchi, is calling for an expedited process in holding elections in order to form a new government.

President Felipe Calderón of Mexico is boasting success in the Mexican drug war in spite of the fact that 2010 saw more deaths related to drug violence than in any other year since he took office in 2006.  In fact 2010 produced half of all the casualties since 2006 when Calderon ordered federal troops into the fray.  It would seem that the Mexicans have as hard a time with numbers and facts as we Americans do.

Calderon is citing the decrease as a result of the members of the drug cartels killing more of one another than they are of the innocent Mexican citizens.  Sounds like fuzzy math at best.

Floods of biblical proportion are occurring in Australia’s Queensland and New South Wales.  Newsreels from the scene show cars being washed down what looks like a raging river as big as a lake.  The death toll now stands at 22 with 40 missing.  Even the old timers are in disbelief as to the proportion of the flood.  It is in fact being compared to the shock and awe the American military visited upon the people of Iraq.

The town of Brisbane has ceased all operations as muddy waters from the Brisbane River encompass the town.   Not only cars, but houses have been washed away and the famed Suncorp football stadium is now the equivalent of the world’s largest swimming pool.

One year after the earthquake in Haiti, one million people there are still living in tents.  Starvation and social upheaval have been avoided to date as the Haitian people seem to be concentrating their efforts on working their way out of the mess they find themselves in.  They apparently are getting enough to eat, though from what I have seen on the television I would not recommend the cuisine.

The Red Cross is at present building 300 semi-permanent wooden houses while a plan to give $130 to everyone living in the tent cities was rejected by the Haitian government, saying the move would cause the area to be swamped with others wanting the handout.

Documents demanding detailed information from Twitter accounts belonging to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and PFC Bradley Manning were sent from Federal Attorney General’s office to Twitter Inc.   Attorney General Eric Holder is vowing to prosecute Julian Assange no matter how far he has to reach into the law to do so.

The individuals, Birgitta Jonsdottir, an Icelandic parliamentarian and one-time WikiLeaks collaborator, Dutch hacker Rop Gonggrijp, and U.S. programmer Jacob Appelbaum, also had their Twitter accounts subpoenaed.

A package addressed to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano began to fizzle and emit smoke Friday.  The incident is believed to be connected to two others which occurred in Maryland on Thursday.  It is reported that the packages were sent by a person evidently upset over road signs that say, “Report Suspicious Activity” and give a 1-800 tip line.  The signs were a part of nationwide program called “See something, Say something” launched by Napolitano back in July.  It is reported that the message that came with the smoking package read “Report suspicious activity! Total Bull—-! You have created a self fulfilling prophecy.”

Does anybody else find this whole thing a little strange?  The reporting of the story seems to be trying to slant the mind towards terrorists in the form of Al Qaida, while the message left by the person who mailed the packages would seem to indicate someone more domestic protesting the perceived police state.  The statement, “self fulfilling prophecy” seems to indicate that terrorists will be created simply by others identifying them as suspicious, which leads us down the road to what rates as suspicious?  Maybe just being different is suspicious.  But then, different from what or who?

Pictures of a new Chinese stealth bomber were leaked onto the internet Thursday.  Apparently by the Chinese government in an effort to show off their new technology and flex their military muscle.  The belief that it must have been the Chinese government that leaked the photo is based on the fact that the internet is censored 100% in China and the picture has not been removed.

What do you want to bet that the plane was made with materials derived from scrap metal from the United States?  For ten years before World War II American scrap metal was being sold to Japan.  This is indeed what they built the war machine with that they used against us.  How ironic would it be if seventy years later we once again had bombs dumped on us from a plane made out of American scrap?

Before the 112th Congress begins business the Constitution of the United States will be read from the podium.  From this day forward each new piece of legislation introduced in that body must cite the Constitutional authority for the bill.  Speaker of the House John Boehner, commenting on the issue spoke those famous words, “All men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”  Beautiful words, unfortunately for Mr. Boehner they were the wrong words.  Apparently he needs to go to the third grade teacher that is teaching him American history so that he or she can explain to him the difference between the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

Representative Jerrold Nadler, D-NY, called the reading of the Constitution “Total Nonsense.”  Nadler went on to say that the act of reading the Constitution by the Republican Party was hypocritical as he asserts that the Republicans routinely violate the Constitution as much as the Democrats do.

Salman Taseer, the governor of Punjab Province, was killed in a shooting in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad on Tuesday. Apparently Mr. Taseer had been backing the release of a Christian woman who had been sentenced to death for blaspheming against Islam.  The assassination has immense political ramifications, causing a near collapse of Pakistan’s government as members of the coalition government are moving to the opposition’s benches.

The whole scenario has been described as a setback for the American cause in Afghanistan as the opposition groups in Pakistan harbor the Afghans who are in opposition to U.S. interests.

Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah are considering legislation to put an end to the anchor baby boom.  If any illegal pregnant woman can make it across our border before she gives birth that child is granted automatic citizenship.  The theory being that the 14th Amendment grants citizenship to anyone born here.  Right or wrong aside, the 14th Amendment was passed to grant citizenship to the children of African slaves who had been living in this country for generations and were brought here against their will.  And that was the right thing to do.

The so called anchor babies fall under international law, which asserts any person born abroad retains the citizenship of his or her parents.  I believe the Democrats are so desperate to keep Obama in office that they are willing to give to the illegals anything they want for their votes.  Even if the things they are giving away are not theirs to give.

World population is growing by about 80 million people per year.  We are now at 7 billion and counting.  The U.N. estimates that we may reach 9 billion by 2045.  At present there are 1 billion people in the world without enough food to eat.  The situation is not being described as one in lacking space it is rather being described as a situation involving our ability to produce enough food to feed everyone.

Some experts are citing global warming and CO2 emmissions as the largest barrier to producing sufficient levels of food to support the population, which I do not quite understand.  I have in fact conducted experiments in an effort to explore the hypothesis.

United States Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, is busy today securing one of the borders of our homeland.  It is not the border between Texas and Mexico, New Mexico and Mexico, Arizona and Mexico, or California and Mexico.  It is indeed our homeland border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.  Yes, you heard me right, United States Homeland Security, according to Ms. Napolitano, is going to seal the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Napolitano flew to Afghanistan, taking with her our expert border agents, which have so effectively sealed our Southern border.  So what is our United States Homeland Security Secretary doing in a foreign country leading a crusade to seal their border while the entire population of South America is pouring into the United States through Mexico?

New Hawaiian Governor, Neil Abercrombie, has stated that he is going to acquire Barrack Obama’s original birth certificate in order to put to rest the issue of Obama’s place of birth and citizenship once and for all.

You would think that all those who support Obama would favor the action.  And what are we really talking about here, nothing more than producing a document that should have been produced a long time ago.  However, leftist Demorats are urging Abercrombie to stay out of the Birther debate.

Danish Intelligence officers arrested suspected terrorists Wednesday.  They are accused of preparing to attack a Copenhagen newspaper that five years ago released cartoons depicting the Profit Mohamed.  They were apparently well armed and carrying plastic ties in their pockets to use as hand cuffs.  It is believed that the plan was to kill as many people as possible.

Denmark’s intelligence service said it arrested four men in two raids in suburbs of the capital, Copenhagen, and seized an automatic weapon, a silencer and ammunition. Swedish police said they arrested a 37-year-old Swedish citizen of Tunisian origin living in Stockholm.

South Korean President Lee Myung-bak has announced a change in strategy in reference future South Korean responses to North Korean attacks.  The change in heart comes after mass criticisms from the South Korean people for his failure to counter attack after North Korea shelled Yeonpyeong Island on November 23rd.

President Lee has also appointed a new defense minister.  He has stated that any further attacks from the North will be answered with massive air strikes.

Another package bomb was discovered in Rome, this time at the Greek Embassy which sits directly in front of the home of the American Ambassador to Italy.  The package bomb is being described as the same kind that exploded last week in the Swiss and Chilean Embassies in Rome.  No organization as yet has come forward to claim responsibility for the package bomb.

In reference to the two other bombings that occurred last week an anarchist group is taking responsibility.  You will recall that two embassy employees were seriously injured when they attempted to open the packages containing the bombs.  The package bombs are being described as small, basically the size of a compact disc.
