Three other Democrats were targeted for recall, but only one campaign met the signature threshold. Sen. Angela Giron is waiting for the Gessler’s office to finish counting and validating the signatures against her.

As senate president, Morse was one of the most high profile Democrats fighting for the passage of several strict gun control laws. He sponsored one of the most contentious bills, which would have made the owners, sellers and manufacturers of semiautomatic sporting rifles liable for damage the weapons may cause, but he ultimately spiked the bill when it became clear that even some Democrats wouldn’t vote for it.   Continue reading “Recall of Colorado gun controller gets enough signatures”

1) This is President Obama’s number one political agenda item because he knows we will never again have a Republican president, ever, if amnesty goes into effect. We will perpetually have a progressive, liberal president, probably a Democrat, and we will probably see the House of Representatives go into Democrat hands and the Senate will stay in Democrat hands. — Michele Bachmann   Continue reading “Everything You Need To Know About The Rubio/McCain Amnesty Catastrophe In 15 Quotes”

To add further drama and confusion to the story of Edward Snowden, NSA Spying and Central Intelligence Agency involvement, a passenger on a U.S. bound flight out of Hong Kong Monday claimed that intelligence agents had detained him, were going to kidnap him, take him to a safe house, and that they planned to kill him because of his knowledge about the recently released leaks.

According to witnesses, passenger Daniel M. Perry relayed to other passengers aboard the plane that he was a government worker, a claim that was later confirmed by sources.   Continue reading “Real Life Spy Drama On U.S. Bound Plane: “I’m Dead Already, They’re Gonna Kill Me””

NEW YORK (AP) — FBI agents with jackhammers and shovels were digging Tuesday under a New York City house once occupied by a famed gangster who inspired Robert De Niro’s character in the movie “Goodfellas.”

James Burke, the late Lucchese crime family associate, is said to have buried victims in familiar places — including under the nearby saloon he ran. On Monday, FBI investigators descended on the Queens neighborhood that was also home base for the late mobster John Gotti and his Gambino crime family. It’s from here that Burke allegedly masterminded a nearly $6 million robbery at New York’s Kennedy Airport in 1978 — one of the largest cash thefts in American history.   Continue reading “FBI digging at former home of famed NY mobster”

Small business owner Justin Krauss explains how the National Internet Sales Tax Mandate burdens small businesses:

Each of this country’s 10,000 different taxing jurisdictions has its own laws for applying sales tax to all sorts of goods — including food, prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, software, clothes and much more. Plus, within the same zip code, even on the same street, different tax rates can apply. I manually downloaded and printed the sales tax rates by zip code for all of the states. It’s over 38,000 lines long and 811 printed pages.   Continue reading “Internet Sales Taxes: a headache for small business owners”

While their presence often signifies coverage for our beloved phones, some people see them as eyesores that painfully stick out and ruin landscapes. To combat this, some companies have attempted to ‘disguise’ cell phone towers to better blend in with their surroundings. This initiative has resulted in varying levels of success.   Continue reading “25 Examples of Cell Phone Tower Disguises”

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what the NSA is actually doing.  Are they reading our emails?  Are they listening to our telephone calls?  Do they target American citizens or is it only foreigners that they are targeting?  Unfortunately, the truth is that we aren’t going to get straight answers from our leaders about this.  The folks running the NSA have already shown that they are willing to flat out lie to Congress, and Barack Obama doesn’t exactly have the greatest track record when it comes to telling the truth.  These are men that play word games and tell lies for a living.    Continue reading “21 Facts About NSA Snooping That Every American Should Know”
