Omaha, NE — Two former police officers are now facing charges for their role in the horrific death of a mentally ill man after dashcam video shows them deploying a taser on him numerous times, and then punching him until he died.
The charges stem from a confrontation on June 5, in which Officers Makyla Mead and Jennifer Strudl were called to investigate a disturbance at a local gas station. Upon arrival, they approached Zachary Bearheels and initiated contact with him, quickly placing him in handcuffs. The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) met with members of Congress this week to discuss multiple issues when a Republican congressman asked a question that would expose the state’s immoral and tyrannical war on drugs in an accidental stroke of logic.
Harold Watson “Trey” Gowdy III is a member of the Tea Party movement and the Republican Party and serves as a congressman from South Carolina. He is also the chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. During the meeting with the ONDCP this week, Gowdy asked why marijuana was a schedule I drug.

On Wednesday, two Pennsylvania Democrat mayors were indicted as a result of an FBI pay-to-play corruption probe.
Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski (D) was charged with 14 counts relating to running a pay-to-play scheme, and other offenses while former Reading Mayor Vaughn Spencer (D) “essentially put up a ‘for sale’ sign in front of their city halls to sell city work to the highest bidder,” according to US Attorney for Eastern Pennsylvania Louis Lappen. A drone carrying a grenade infiltrated an ammunition dump in the Ukraine, setting off an explosion that caused an astounding billion dollars worth of damage. The incident points to the growing use of drones in wartime, particularly off the shelf civilian products harnessed to conduct sabotage and other attacks.
Ukraine’s domestic intelligence service, the SBU, believes that a drone carrying a Russian thermite hand grenade caused a series of titanic explosions at Balakliya, a military base in Eastern Ukraine. Amateur video of the incident posted on YouTube shows a raging fire spewing out of control artillery rockets, and an explosion and shockwave that sent civilians nearby reeling.
