PHOENIX (KSAZ) – A frightening home invasion reportedly took place in broad daylight in a West Phoenix neighborhood Friday, as two men with machetes barged into a home.

The residents, however, reportedly fought back with a gun, and the incident ended with one of the suspects dead.

The incident reportedly began at a home on 34th Avenue. Just before 3:00 p.m., detectives said two men banged on someone’s door, and when the residents answered, the men, reportedly armed with machetes, tried to force their way in. A twin-engine plane crashed on the 405 Freeway in Orange County, California, Friday, the FAA confirmed to ABC News.

According to the agency, there were two people aboard the Cessna 310, which erupted into flames after slamming into the highway near John Wayne Airport. The prototype features a helmet covering the soldier’s face and cutting-edge body armor.

Yesterday, I reported on the fact that an indictment had been handed down against an FBI agent who took a shot at Lavoy Finicum on January 26, 2016 as he exited his truck before being gunned down by Oregon State Police.  On Wednesday, that agent entered a plea of not guilty to five counts of lying and obstruction.  Furthermore, he is not even being held on bail.

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after Christine Braswell, 26, claimed she saw Robert Raines rummaging through her SUV, WLOS reports.
