A group of young people chase riot police with sticks and stones; authorities then fire on the crowd with tear gas as an armored vehicle pushes back protesters and rolls over people in the crowd. After floodwaters punched through levees in parts of Missouri and Arkansas, the National Weather Service warned Thursday of more high water in northwest Arkansas, where some 100 members of the National Guard are assisting in the flood-fighting effort.

A student dressed as a Stormtrooper on ‘Star Wars Day’ sparked the evacuation of a Wisconsin High School as well as the lockdown of a nearby Middle School and Community Center.
The incident happened at Ashwaubenon High School, Green Bay, Thursday morning when a parent, apparently oblivious to the ‘Star Wars’ fan day, raised the alarm after spotting someone enter the school wearing a mask and what they believed was a ballistic type vest. Reno, NV — Surveillance footage, released to the Reno Gazette-Journal through a public records request, shows the terrifying final moments of 35-year-old Justin Thompson, a man in the midst of a mental breakdown. For 30 minutes, nearly a dozen Washoe County Sheriff’s deputies took turns kicking, tasering, insulting, and crushing the wind from Thompson — who noted multiple times that he could not breathe through the spit mask over his head.
The tragic incident began to unfold on August 3, 2016, when Thompson was arrested. His family and girlfriend reported that Thompson is bipolar and had been off his medication for some time. During the bipolar episode, Thompson, who has no previous criminal record, was arrested on charges of domestic battery.
