YUBA CITY, Calif. (KCRA) — Police are investigating after a Yuba City officer was recorded on camera punching a suspect Monday afternoon, and some witnesses said they saw the suspect hit the officer first.

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – A farmer in northwest Portland is upset after a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy shot and killed his goat when it escaped Sunday morning.

It’s a short walk from Matt Minnick’s farm to the stretch of fencing at the end of his property.

Police in the United States are breaking records in 2017 by killing a record number of the same people they claim to serve and protect, and there is no change in sight under the current administration.

In 2017 alone, police have killed 746 people in the U.S., according to the Killed By Police database, which puts this year on pace to become the deadliest year on record.
