Decades before the Apple Store, there was RadioShack. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, it was where many Americans rushed to purchase their very first home computers, the TRS-80. My family was part of that group, and I distinctly remember being adrift in huge crowds at a store in New Hampshire when my dad got one for us at home. As I was about 8 years old, I recall being more excited about all the remote-control cars they sold there and the Simon-esque handheld games. Once I discovered the TRS-80 could also entertain, it helped launch a lifelong love affair with all things video games. I may frequently forget the names of co-workers and which day of the week it is, but I can recite from memory the final riddle in an extremely early text adventure simply called Haunted House. It is embedded now within my DNA. Continue reading “Is This the End of RadioShack?”

Wisconsin –-(Ammoland.com)- I have an old Savage model 99, take-down rifle in 300 Savage and an extra 410 shotgun barrel to go with the rifle. When you use the 410 barrel you have to load and shoot the 99 as a single shot.
There are no good deals on 300 Savage ammo anymore, and it gets harder to find, but I still like to take the rifle/shotgun unit with me, because it breaks down so small for storage during transport. Continue reading “Shooting 9mm Out Of A 410 Shotgun – It Is About Having The Right Tool”

I could have died on September 2, 2014, because of an illegal partnership and conspiracy involving a dangerous conflict-of-interest between the Pasco County, Florida Sheriff’s Department and a supposedly not-for-profit powerful hospital corporation called Morton Plant Mease Hospital / BayCare Health System. A Pasco County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to my 911 call, which I made while seeking help for my medical condition, and he came into my home and abducted me. He took me away from my home under the false pretense of promising to take me to a hospital, himself, instead of calling for an EMS unit with trained paramedics to medically evaluate me. The Deputy never did take me to a hospital, which I desperately needed. This was done in order for the Pasco County, Florida Sheriff’s Department to illegally financially help the above-mentioned hospital corporation. The terrible chain of events that followed could happen to any innocent citizen and clearly violated multiple Federal laws, as well as my Constitutional Civil Rights and liberties. Townhall season is in full swing, as elected morons are preparing for their sessions, and actually making some public appearances.
In Oregon, state senator Elizabeth Steiner Hayward and rep Mitch Greenlick want to criminalize being victim. As in, if someone steals your gun and uses it in a crime, you are held liable. When asked for clarification on this, they both emphatically state “YUP!” when asked if they want a parent thrown in jail if their child uses a gun in a crime.
