filmarrest1The Free Thought Project – by Mike Sawyer

A blood boiling video of a Covina, CA police officer, K. Counts, was recently uploaded to youtube by Damon Enz. In the video officer Counts proceeds to trample Enz’s rights demanding that he answer questions.

“Honestly, I am going to detain you if you do not answer my questions,” says officer Counts. Apparently officer Counts swore an oath to an abridged version of the Constitution, which does not contain the 5th Amendment right of the citizen to remain silent.   Continue reading “Attention Police Officers, This is How NOT to React to a Person Filming on a Public”

Tech Dirt – by Tim Cushing

The notion that certain rights are guaranteed to citizens is being proven false every day. For instance, you have the First Amendment right to film police officers and other public officials, but it often takes an official policy change (usually prompted by lawsuits) before these public servants will begrudgingly respect that right.

You also have certain rights guaranteed by the Fifth Amendment, but even these aren’t innate. You can’t simply remain silent while detained or arrested. You have to invoke these rights (often repeatedly) or risk having your silence (things you didn’t say) used against you.    Continue reading “Cop To Cameraman: ‘If You’re Invoking Your Rights, You Must Be Doing Something Wrong’”

Freedom Outpost – by Tim Brown

You’ll recall one member of Barack Obama’s Sharia and Homeland Security advisors Mohamed Elibiary from past articles here at Freedom Outpost. Elibiary not only claimed that America is an Islamic country with an Islamically compliant constitution and believes that Islam is the antidote to terrorism. Last week, amid the claims that a terrorist threat was likely on the US-Mexican border by ISIS, the Islamic imam resigned his post as Homeland Security advisor to head down south to… Texas. The timing could not be more suspect.   Continue reading “Obama’s Pro-Muslim Brotherhood Homeland Security Advisor Resigns – Heads to Texas”

Freedom Outpost – by Tim Brown

While many assume wrongly that when we post articles against Islam or informing the public about what Islamists are advancing in or against the US we are pushing a spirit of fear, we are not. We simply put out the information so that people can be aware and alert as to what is going on and respond appropriately. Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter has done just that. He’s heard the information and now he has a message for members of ISIS who wish to cross our borders and engage in terrorism: We’ll send you to hell.   Continue reading “Texas Sheriff to ISIS: Rear Your Head Here & We’ll Send You to Hell”

Sen. Ted Cruz was booed offstage at a conference for Middle Eastern Christians Wednesday night after saying that “Christians have no greater ally than Israel.”

Cruz, the keynote speaker at the sold-out D.C. dinner gala for the recently-founded non-profit In Defense of Christians, began by saying that “tonight, we are all united in defense of Christians. Tonight, we are all united in defense of Jews. Tonight, we are all united in defense of people of good faith, who are standing together against those who would persecute and murder those who dare disagree with their religious teachings.”   Continue reading “Ted Cruz Booed Off Stage At Middle East Christian Conference”

Ultrastar He8 close-upExtreme Tech – by Sebastian Anthony

In what can only be described as the hard drive equivalent of Game of Thrones, Western Digital’s HGST has announced the world’s first 10-terabyte hard drive: the helium-filled Ultrastar He10. This comes just a few weeks after Seagate announced initial availability of its 8TB air-filled hard drive, which at the time was the largest hard drive in the world. There’s no word on pricing yet but Western Digital says, somewhat unbelievably, that the 10TB drive will have the lowest cost-per-gigabyte and power consumption-per-gigabyte of any drive on the market.   Continue reading “Western Digital unveils world’s first 10TB hard drive: Helium-filled, shingled recording”

Tent tech has come a long way. Here are 9 great tents for your backpack or bug out bag that will make camping more survivable - and more enjoyable ... 9 ultralight backpacking tent for hiking or bug out bags - http://graywolfsurvival.com/?p=3657Graywolf Survival

If you had to leave home quickly, as a prepper you’d probably have at least a cheap EDC kit on you and a small go bag that you could grab. There is certainly some utility in going ultra-light like that but unfortunately that system doesn’t allow you to have much of a shelter and you can only expect to be able to live with just that gear if you’ve spent a lot of time learning a lot of survival skills.

Sure, you might get lucky and find something out there or just toss up a cheap tarp, but what if you needed more? Staying in what we call in the army ‘the suck’ is one thing, but planning on having your life suck is entirely something else. Sleeping in just a bivy sack might be fine for some but I’d like a bit more than that.   Continue reading “9 ultralight backpacking tents for hiking or your bug out bag”

Free Energy Generator10 kilowatts from 1 and the machine generates the 1 kilowatt to make 10 out of. This looks like the real deal. I wish I knew someone who has one.

Energy Fanatics – by PL Chang

When it comes to “free energy,” most scientists like to shove it under the pseudoscience category, because they can’t seem to grasp the idea that “free energy” is real. Conventional scientists have a hard time accepting the idea that a “free energy” device, such as the Quantum Energy Generator (QEG), can produce limitless energy because it violates the laws of thermodynamics.   Continue reading “Quantum Energy Generator: A Working “Free Energy” Machine?”

Beginning today, the organization Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth has placed a massive, 45-foot video billboard of World Trade Center 7′s destruction in Times Square which is timed to run for the 13th anniversary of 9/11 and on through October 5th.

Against a backdrop of WTC7′s repeated freefall, the words “5:20 PM on 9/11, WTC7 came down in a classic controlled demolition. The government says fire brought it down, but anyone who watches the video can see otherwise” will appear. The 15-second spot will air every two minutes for four straight weeks.   Continue reading “Giant Video Billboard of WTC7′s Destruction Placed in Times Square for 9/11 Anniversary”

Questions about why a military-style helicopter landed briefly in downtown Dallas Tuesday remain unanswered. The flight occurred around 7 p.m. and was captured on camera by TheBlaze. The helicopter, which resembled a Blackhawk or an Apache, landed at a heliport atop a parking garage. It stayed for about three to five minutes before taking off again.   Continue reading “Why Did a Military-Style Helicopter Land in Downtown Dallas Tuesday Evening?”

White House Dossier – by Keith Koffler

Oh the indignity.

What golf course would have turned away President Barack Obama a couple of years ago? None. But now, in a sign of The One’s fading luster, no less than three New York City-area clubs told the president to take his game elsewhere rather than disrupt their members’ coveted Labor Day Weekend of play.

Obama was in  Rhode Island and Westchester County – a suburb of the city – Friday, August 29, doing some fundraising. He was scheduled to stay overnight, since he had the wedding of White House Cook Sam Kass in Westchester to go to Saturday evening.   Continue reading “Obama Denied His Golf”
