Sweeney Gillette, a very successful cattle trader from Ontario, Oregon, had barely finished a pleasant chat with his ex-wife when his phone rang. In an agitated voice, Gillette’s attorney reported that he had just been contacted by a Malheur County deputy District Attorney who accused the rancher of “unlawfully interfering with a witness” – namely, his ex-wife.

San Diego rapper Tiny Doo, who has no criminal record, may end up being held criminally liable for a series of gang-related shootings to which prosecutors admit he has no direct ties, simply because he claims to be affiliated with the same gang on hisnew album No Safety. According to ABC News10 San Diego, he is the first person to be charged under a California law, passed in 2000, which seeks to punish anyone who benefits in any way from gang-related crimes. In 1967, at the height of the Arab-Israeli Six-Day War, the Israeli Air Force launched an unprovoked attack on the USS Liberty, a US Navy spy ship that was monitoring the conflict from the safety of international waters in the Mediterranean.

Israeli jet fighters hit the vessel with rockets, cannon fire and napalm, before three Israeli torpedo boats moved in to launch a second more devastating attack. CNN is reporting tonight that Darren Wilson, the officer who shot and killed Michael Brown in August, is negotiating his resignation from the Ferguson police force. Seemingly it depends on what comes out of the grand jury. If they do not indict him he is more likely to resign as a way to help his fellow officers.

A political science professor dressed up as former-Vice President Dick Cheney (R) and pretended to shoot around the classroom.

In a video and photos obtained by Campus Reform, John Gruhl, a professor of political science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) donned an orange vest and Cheney mask and then pretended to shoot around his classroom.
