One of the activists arrested made the following post to their YouTube channel:
Two patriots are arrested for not obeying an officer and one was also charged with resisting arrest. Did he resist arrest? You be the judge. Oh, and one more thing, they never read us our Miranda Rights. We spent 24 hours in the St. Charles Count Jail with Missouri Hwy Trooper Jenkins acting as judge, jury and executioner. CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Mingo County Circuit Judge Michael Thornsbury was arrested Thursday after federal authorities allege he targeted his ex-lover’s husband and used his position on the bench to manipulate criminal charges against the man.
The indictment, returned Wednesday by a federal grand jury in Charleston, charges Thornsbury with conspiring to violate the constitutional rights of his former secretary’s husband. In a developing story, Sheriff Nick Finch was arrested, charged with a felony and suspended without pay for supporting a citizen’s 2nd Amendment rights. It’s not a story you hear every day. It’s certainly not a story you’d expect out of a county named Liberty.
The events began when Floyd Eugene Parrish, a Florida resident, was arrested and detained by one of Finch’s deputies for carrying a firearm without a permit on March 8th, 2013. In the state of Florida, this lands you a 3rd degree felony charge. Finch released Parrish because, in his assessment, Parrish was not a violent criminal and was acting innocuously. Finch called the clerk and told her not to draw up arrest documents until he was there to assess the situation. Note, Parrish had not been officially booked into jail- only detained. The Sakurajima Volcano, one of Japan’s most active volcanoes, erupted on Sunday sending plumes of ash thousands of feet into the air, in what is being called it’s largest eruption in decades. Reports state that the smoke plume eventually reached a height of 5,000 meters (approximately 16,000 feet), according to the Kagoshima Local Meteorological Observatory. LINDA (CBS13) – Detectives are investigating why local man had a large stockpile of illegal weapons and explosives at his Rio Linda home.
Late Thursday night, Placer County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over Andreas H. Koertel, 46, of Sacramento in a traffic stop. Deputies found Koertel in possession of meth and illegal weapons, according to Dena Erwin, a Placer County Sheriff’s Office public information officer. He was booked into jail on multiple charges. Global Internet traffic plunged by approximately 40 percent after Google services suffered a complete black-out Friday night, showing clearly just how much of grip Google holds on the internet worldwide.
According to Sky News Online, Google has refused to provide additional information on why their services, from Google Search to Gmail to YouTube, went dark, but web analytics firm GoSquared, confirms that the one-to-five minute outage occurred and caused the 40 percent plunge in worldwide Internet traffic.
