Salt Lake City, UT — “He’s got a gun!” and “He’s pointing, he’s pointing!” were two phrases Salt Lake City police officers shouted earlier this month before opening fire on a popular local rapper from Glendale, killing him. However, nearly 3 weeks after the shooting, police confirmed on Wednesday that there was no gun.
Also on Wednesday, police released the body camera footage from that night, showing officers opening fire on the unarmed Cody Belgard. What’s more, another video shows his girlfriend tell officers—before they shot him—that Belgard has no gun. Smithville, OH — A disturbing video shows the reality of what education in a police state looks like as a non-violent teen was tasered by school resource officer over an argument about a dress code violation.
According to Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Doug Huner, the teen was being non-compliant and refusing to obey officials in regard to a disciplinary issue. Yuma Sector Border Patrol officials tweeted that large groups of illegal immigrants from Central America continue to exploit gaps in the region’s border infrastructure to enter the U.S.
Border Patrol officials with the Yuma Sector tweeted a video showing a group of illegal immigrants crossing the border where there is a gap in infrastructure. Missouri State Representative Bruce Franks Jr has released appalling bodycam footage he fought to obtain for four years, in which officers who arrested him brag openly about the brutality they used when dealing with protesters.

Panic ensued Tuesday at Walter Reed hospital in Bethesda, Md., after an active shooter exercise was thought to be an actual shooting.

Milwaukee, WI — Disturbing body camera footage was recently released showing Milwaukee police shoot an unarmed man on a rooftop. The man was holding nothing but his cellphone and had committed no crime when an officer opened fire.
The newly-released body camera footage shows multiple officers chasing Jerry Smith Jr., who was 19 at the time. The officers have Smith cornered on a rooftop as they yell at him to put up his hands.
