In a heated attack on John Kerry’s speech at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, Steinitz accused the US Secretary of State of holding a gun to Israel’s head in the peace negotiations. Wheat is a highly controversial food these days.

One one hand, we’ve got people telling us that it is extremely harmful, with one doctor calling itpoison.

Then on the other hand, we’ve got dietitians and the government telling us that whole wheat is an essential part of a “balanced” diet.

Well… one inescapable fact is that humans have been consuming wheat, in one form or another, for thousands of years.   Continue reading “Modern Wheat – Old Diet Staple Turned Into a Modern Health Nightmare”

A Warren police officer has been fired for scalping a detained woman, while she was in custody. Surveillance cameras caught the incident and the authorities say her actions were unnecessary. It seems a bit mild to say it was unnecessary. It was sadistic and cruel. One woman trying to de-feminize another, trying to break the woman’s spirit.

Charda Gregory of Detroit was taken into police custody back in November, accused of disorderly conduct, destroying property at a Warren hotel and assaulting a police officer. While she was processed she was placed in a restraining chair, was strapped in and a Warren police officer cut her hair with scissors. David Griem, Warren City Attorney, and two police administrators reviewed the video several times and unanimously agreed to terminate the police officer. Griem says the 10-year veteran officer was freelancing.   Continue reading “Police Officer Fired For ‘Scalping’ Detained Woman”

For those who haven’t heard, Washington State just passed both laws:  gay marriage and legalized marijuana.

The fact that gay marriage and marijuana were legalized on the same day makes perfect biblical sense because Leviticus 20:13 says, “If a man lies with another man, they should be stoned”.

I just hadn’t interpreted it correctly before.

Thoughts on Hunters, this is an interesting slant on things.  The world’s largest army; America’s hunters!  I had never thought about this, but a blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion:

There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin.  Allow me to restate that number: 600,000.  Over the last several months, Wisconsin’s hunters became the eighth largest army in the world:  more men in arms than in Iran.  More than France and Germany combined.  These men and women deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin, to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed.   Continue reading “American Hunters – The World’s Largest Army”

(Gawker) – There’s more bad news for California: Water deliveries from state and federal reservoirs to the Central Valley—where much of the nation’s food is grown—have been cut to zero. The reservoirs are going dry and there’s no water to deliver.

Had any fresh fruits and vegetables lately? How about some almonds or walnuts? California produces a huge amount of this stuff, but after years of drought there’s no more water to go around. Farmers had already been struggling on just 5 percent of the water they receive in good years. Now they’ll get nothing at all.   Continue reading “Parched California Cuts Farm Water Supplies To … Zero”

Detroit Police Chief James CraigDetroit News – by George Hunter

Detroit— Police Chief James Craig responded Thursday to a citizen who criticized his pro-gun stance by reiterating his opinion that “good citizens” who legally carry firearms could help deter violent crime.

Craig made national news earlier this month after he told The Detroit News he’d changed his mind about the gun issue, and came to the conclusion that armed citizens could dissuade criminals from attacking them — a rarity among urban police chiefs, who generally don’t publicly support citizens’ right to carry firearms.   Continue reading “Detroit police chief defends stance on backing citizens carrying guns”
