Without a sustained campaign of deception, demonisation and propaganda there would be no support for wars. In point of fact there would be public revulsion, rallied opposition and a reduction in conflict.
People that help start wars should be seen as criminals.
Never forget that the media branded “war on terror” is in fact a “war of terror” aimed primarily at our minds. Continue reading “Media Whores Bringing Us Wars”

Today we learn that following an incident involving a presumably partially sighted Lancashire copper tazering a 64 year old blind man after supposedly confusing his thin white cane with a curved samurai sword. The unlikely tale that we are supposed to believe is that the copper responsible for this atrocity thought at the time that a blind man walking away from him posed a threat to the public.
If and it is a big if, he managed to confuse a samurai sword with a thin white cane carried by a blind old man the clearly his judgement is called into question as is his resort to potentially lethal force in short order. Minor by comparison but equally as abhorrent is handcuffing the gentleman for a period afterwards when it must clearly have become blindingly obvious that the chap did not have a large sword about his person. By the 19th century, the Ottoman Empire had become a has-been power whose glory days as the world’s superpower were well behind them.
They had been supplanted the French, the British, and the Russian empires in all matters of economic, military, and diplomatic strength. Much of this was due to the Ottoman Empire’s massive debt burden. Continue reading “US now spending 26% of available tax revenue just to pay interest”
Behind closed doors the U.S. government is giving Russia free military equipment—also used to train American troops—even after President Obama announced punitive sanctions against Moscow and, more importantly, a suspension in military engagement over the invasion and occupation of Ukraine.
The secret operation was exposed this week by members of Congress that discovered it in the process of reviewing the Fiscal Year 2014 budget and the proposed Fiscal Year 2015 budget request. It turns out that the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has been providing the Russian Federation with the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES), the federal legislators say. The U.S. military uses MILES for tactical force-on-force training because it has a system of lasers and dummy ammunition to simulate ground combat. NEW YORK (AP) — Osama bin Laden’s son-in-law was convicted Wednesday for his role as al-Qaida’s fiery chief spokesman after 9/11 — a verdict prosecutors said vindicated the Obama administration’s strategy of bringing terror suspects to justice in civilian court.
A federal jury deliberated six hours over two days before finding 48-year-old Sulaiman Abu Ghaith guilty of charges that included conspiracy to kill Americans and providing support to al-Qaida. Abu Ghaith, a Kuwaiti-born imam who married bin Laden’s eldest daughter about five years ago, is the highest-ranking al-Qaida figure brought to trial on U.S. soil since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. WASHINGTON (AP) — Twenty-five pharmaceutical companies are voluntarily phasing out the use of antibiotics for growth promotion in animals processed for meat, the Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday.
Citing a potential threat to public health, the agency in December asked 26 companies to voluntarily stop labeling drugs important for treating human infection as acceptable for animal growth promotion. The FDA did not name the one company that has not agreed to withdraw or revise its drugs. Continue reading “25 drug companies to phase out animal antibiotics”

My wife and I are considered self employed. We are independent contractors that perform work for various companies and at the end of the year we receive a 1099 from them so that we can file our taxes. We do not have taxes withheld like typical workers. We also do not qualify for unemployment do to our being self employed.
This year our fees that the pieces of shit in DC and my state require us to pay to be allowed to live in the kingdom came in under 5 digits. We were almost happy about that. It was mainly because I was out of work for a little while last year. It still hurts to write the check to the thieves in DC. I understand that even a minimal government requires fiat currency to function. But the amounts that they spend on themselves and their bullshit are unacceptable. To put this into perspective, Michelle Obama just went on vacation to China at our expense. Her majesty’s room ran over $8000.00 per night. The taxes that we are forced to pay for a year didn’t quite cover one night for her in her hotel. Yet we have to budget our money to be able to eat. It is tough to write that check every year knowing that the money that we send will go to a bunch of things that we don’t want it to go to. Continue reading “Taxes! (caution, I will be cursing a lot in this article)”

The remnants of the BP oil spill are still impacting the environment around the Gulf. During a post-response monitoring survey last month, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) found 1250 pounds of submerged oil mats near Pensacola beaches. The discovery was baffling because the area was surveyed 9 times since the Deepwater Horizon oil in 2010. Continue reading “Submerged Oil Mats from BP Spill Found Near Pensacola Beaches”
