F-Bombs-for-feminismThe Organic Prepper

Yeah, I said it. Right there in the headline. I figure if grown women can encourage children to drop f-bombs on video for their “cause” then it’s only reasonable to respond to them in a language they can understand. (I deeply apologize to readers who are offended by this, but please bear with me – there’s a reason for it.)

Are you offended? I’m offended too. And horrified. And irate. And yearning to take those little girls back to my house and just let them be little girls, for crying out loud.  While these children should be having tea parties, catching lightning bugs, and playing on the swingset, they’ve been pimped out to make a point.   Continue reading “F*ck Feminists Who Pimp Little Girls to Promote an Agenda”

Should “experts” be given a pulpit without one word about their serious conflicts of interest? Action Alert!

Last month the Wall Street Journal published Dr. Paul Offit’s pro-vaccine screed without disclosing his major financial conflict of interest. As we reported then, he’s the inventor of the rotavirus vaccine RotaTeq, which is now recommended for universal use among infants by the CDC. He makes untold amounts of money from vaccines. He is entitled to his opinion, however ill-informed it may be, but it is shameful that the prestigious Wall Street Journal has not insisted on a full disclosure of his financial interest.   Continue reading “Wall Street Journal Ignores Over Sixteen Hundred Letters Challenging Its Journalistic Ethics”

The state of freedom in AmericaBackwoods Home Magazine – by Claire Wolfe

The world is becoming less free. In the Middle East and Africa, Islamist fanatics try to bring back the Dark Ages. Europe stagnates under new layers of regulation imposed by the EU. In the United States, a president who disdains the messy art of political deal-making increasingly seeks to rule by executive order and bureaucratic fiat.

Think tanks from every part of the political spectrum agree that freedom is falling nearly everywhere. They release annual reports charting alarming declines. Democracy-promoting (and government-funded) Freedom House notes that freedom of the press is at a 10-year worldwide low. On the economic front, the conservative Heritage Foundation reports that the global growth of freedom has “ground to a halt” since 2008 after growing healthily for the previous 12 years.   Continue reading “The State of Freedom in America”

EbolaNatural News – by Mike Adams

New York Governor Cuomo began yesterday’s Ebola press conference by gently waving his hand at reporters and uttering, “These are not the droids you’re looking for.”

When that didn’t work, he pulled out a pocket watch and let it swing back and forth like a pendulum, slowly repeating “Ebola is hard to catch. Ebola is hard to catch. You are feeling sleepy…”   Continue reading “Ten glaring Ebola contradictions told by government authorities who think we’re all just stupid”

Matt Dorschel University of Idaho Executive Director For Public SafetyAmmoLand – by Dean Weingarten

Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- Last Wednesday, 15 October 2014, the University of Idaho held a forum on “guns on campus”.   The main presenter was Matt Dorschel, university executive director for public safety and security.  While the forum attracted only a few students and faculty, the policy presented was radical.   From the Lewiston Tribune (pdf):

Dorschel said any firearm sighting is grounds to call 911 even if a person is not purposely showing their weapon. He said firearm holders have a responsibility to conceal their weapons and they are violating the university’s policy if they don’t.

gmo corn kid field nslogo 263x164 GMOs may be to Blame for Spike in Kids Suffering from Inflammatory Bowel DiseaseNatural Society – by Christina Sarich

One of the largest studies to date conducted by researchers from the University Hospitals Case Medical Center (UH) Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital has found a dramatic increase in inflammatory bowel conditions (IBD) in children in the U.S. in the last decade, likely due to eating GMOs.

While the incidence of IBD has caused many hospitalizations, the reasons behind the disease are unclear, except for one culprit – the consumption of genetically modified ingredients. This, mostly from school lunches, eating processed GMO foods at home, and at restaurants. The complete study can be found online in the Journal of Investigative Medicine.   Continue reading “GMOs may be to Blame for Spike in Kids Suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease”

A wolf in sheep's clothes, Glenn Beck, left Fox News while pledging to become a pillar of alternative news. The Sleuth Journal – by Luis R. Miranda

They claim to be the “tip of the spear” in the “information war”, but are they really?

Perhaps I am the only person in media who has perceived it. Have the boundaries between alternative and traditional media been blurred?

Dominance from traditional corporate and government financed media has certainly declined in the last 10 years and so has their credibility. The question is, what have they been replaced with?   Continue reading “Alternative Media Spreading Corporate Media Propaganda Virus”

How To Make Your Own Colloidal SilverReady Nutrition – by Jason Keller

Throughout the history of alternative medicine, few remedies have had the staying power of colloidal silver. No matter how much the medical establishment tries to ignore and ridicule it, somehow its practice has never been forgotten. And for every person who claims it is harmful snake oil, there is another who has been using it for years without any ill effects.

That’s because, despite what the media will tell you, colloidal silver isn’t as dangerous as you might think. There are only a handful of people who have been afflicted with the famous “blue man” disease known as Argyria. Typically these are caused by silver chloride or silver proteins, though the media tends to lump them all together with colloidal silver. In other cases the afflicted was taking extremely large doses over many years.   Continue reading “Step By Step: How To Make Your Own Colloidal Silver”

In the News: Silver and Ebola

There is a tremendous buzz about silver and Ebola …

For example, a Google search for silver and Ebola turns up 25 million hits.   And the FDA sent a cease and desist letter to the makers of Nano Silver, demanding that they stop claiming their product cures Ebola.

Many people who are into alternative health are convinced that colloidal silver cures Ebola.  On the other hand, many mainstream people are positive it’s bunk.   Continue reading “Colloidal Silver: Natural Treatment for Ebola?”

Rumors of a Back to the Future-style hoverboard have circled the internet for years, but Engadget reports that hoverboards really do exist. And they would know: Engadget‘s associate editor Sean Buckley apparently rode one.

The hoverboard in question was created by Arx Pax, a California startup. Arx Pax created a Kickstarter crowdfunding project for the Hendo Hoverboard, which it’s billing as “the world’s first REAL hoverboard.” The company claims it invented a new hover engine technology that will allow users to ride “a self-powered, levitating platform with enough power to lift a fully grown adult,” Engadget reports.   Continue reading “The hoverboard is real — and you can ride it”

World Events and the Bible

WEB Notes: How can someone hate God so much? If they do not believe in Him, why do they get so angry at someone they do not believe exists? This image is a great example of the state our nation is in. As a nation we have broken God’s commandments. As a nation we have broken His law and installed our own making His Word void. As individuals we can still lead our own households by God’s Word and we should be doing that, using His Word to set our standard though the world wallows in confusion.

(Source: MSN) Authorities say someone drove across the Oklahoma Capitol lawn and knocked over a Ten Commandments monument that a group has been suing to have removed, smashing it to pieces.   Continue reading “Disputed Oklahoma Ten Commandments statue smashed”

New Economic Perspectives – by William K. Black

I want to give a hat tip to a recent Wall Street Journal article that brought to my attention two damning admissions by JPMorgan’s (JPM) CEO and Chairman of the Board, Jamie Dimon.  The irony is that Dimon was lulled into making these admissions because he was basking in the perfect calm created by the confluence of Sorkin’s and CNBC’s storied sycophancy at the one place on earth where elite bankers feel most loved, honored, and protected – the annual meeting of the ultra-wealthy in Davos, Switzerland.  Sorkin was the only interviewer, so Dimon faced no risk of tough questions.  It may well have been this perfect setting that caused Dimon to let slip the mask and reveal two illustrative sins of elite bankers reported in the WSJ article.   Continue reading “Jamie Dimon: U.S. Must Create a “Safe Harbor” Where JPM’s Corruption Is Not “Punished””

In March of 1870 General Robert E. Lee began his two-month journey to visit two family graves – daughter Annie and that of his father, “Light Horse Harry” Lee of Revolutionary War fame.  He wrote his son Fitzhugh that “I wish to witness Annie’s quiet sleep . . . and to feel that her pure spirit is waiting in bliss in the land of the blessed.”

A 19-year-old mortarman has become the first US soldier to die in the fight against ISIS in Iraq, albeit from a “non-combat injury,” the Pentagon acknowledged.

The death of Marine Lance Corporal Sean P. Neal of Riverside, California, which occurred on Thursday in Baghdad, is under investigation, according to the Pentagon. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, and was one of 1,600 US troops serving in Iraq. Pentagon officials confirmed his death Friday night.   Continue reading “Pentagon confirms ‘1st US soldier’ dead in Iraq anti-ISIS campaign”

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The bomber best known for dropping the atomic bombs on Japan also flew countless other raids. Karnig Thomasian’s final mission on a B-29 Superfortress ended in flames when bombs collided and exploded in the air over Burma in 1945.

He parachuted out and spent six months in a Japanese prison camp. On Thursday, he was once again in a B-29, flying from Baton Rouge to New Orleans. He and other veterans will be on hand at the WWII AirPower Expo in New Orleans this weekend.   Continue reading “World War II airmen fly again in storied B-29”
