On a Thursday night last month, a few students painted their faces black when they attended a “blackout” football game at Sun Devil Stadium.

Now, because of the black face paint, the Arizona State athletic department has asked all students not to wear any kind of face paint whatsoever to future sporting events, the Arizona Daily Independent reports.    Continue reading “Arizona State University Is Banning Face Paint Because It’s Politically Incorrect Now”

There has been an ongoing battle between researchers and the natural gas and oil industries over whether or not hydraulic fracturing (fracking) is definitively leading to an increase in earthquake activity.

In an article entitled “Oklahoma Breaking Records For Earthquake Activity – Fracking?” I presented evidence from the U.S. Army, U.S. Geological Survey, the Oklahoma Geological Survey and the Geological Society of America, which suggests that it is becoming conclusive that fracking causes earthquakes. Furthermore, studies also indicate that even when fracking is halted, earthquake activity can continue and earthquake magnitude can increase over time.    Continue reading “Fracking Earthquakes Confirmed (Again) in Ohio”

State-sponsored terrorism poses a significant challenge to the psychological well-being of the body politic. While evident in many geopolitical locales, this condition arising from such government abuses is especially prevalent in the West. Such a disorder is comparable to the psychological manipulation recognized on a micro-level in some spousal relationships.

Indeed, the 13-year-old “war on terror” has contributed to a grave societal malady that might be deemed “battered citizen syndrome.” As the project of a transnational New World Order is laid out, the psychological constitution of the polity must necessarily experience perpetual crises and the threat thereof. Genuinely non-conventional political communication, organization and activism are among the few substantial means of combating battered citizen syndrome and the spiritual and psychological slavery it perpetuates.    Continue reading “Confronting Battered Citizen Syndrome”

The Atlantic recently did a piece highlighting the use of tasers by law enforcement and the National Park Service on people for light infractions. The darkly comedic or disturbing title is: Zap! Should the State Keep Shocking Citizens to Enforce Minor Laws? A rhetorical question with this possible answer: “WTF, No!” The url words are also notable: “modest-limits-on-when-the-state-can-electrocute-americans.”

It centers around Californian Gary Hesterberg jogging with his unleashed terrier which he then leashed. It ended with a National Park Service woman deploying taser barbs in his back and calling for backup. The twists and turns are well written in depth and are interesting. But…    Continue reading “No Real Limitations on Tasers Used for Minor Infractions or Just Because”

GEAB N°88 is available! Global systemic crisis – 2015: The world is defecting to the EastLeap 2020

Two important facts emerge from the past four weeks’ news. First, China is becoming the world’s largest economic power, officially overtaking the US, based on GDP measured in purchasing power terms (IMF figures) of $17.61 trillion (compared to $17.4 trillion for the US). If the official media hasn’t raised the slightest eyebrow to this information, our team believes that it’s an historic event: the US is no longer the world’s largest economic power and, inevitably, that changes everything ! Following the lead of American leaders like Dick Cheney, and Barack Obama, Turkish officials are now inching forward with their plans to implement a buffer zone and no-fly zone over Syria by simply changing the name of the zone they wish to implement.

Like Dick Cheney’s “Enhanced Interrogation” and Obama’s “Kinetic Military Action,” Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has now stated that Turkey is neither calling for a “buffer zone” or a “no-fly zone” enforced by the military over Syria; it is calling for a “safe zone” to be enforced by the military over Syria. In other words, Turkey is calling for a “buffer zone” and a “no-fly zone” to be enforced by the military in Syria. The top deputy to Attorney General Eric Holder announced his resignation on Thursday amid revelations that Operation Fast and Furious scandal guns were used to harm Americans in Phoenix in 2013, a development top congressional Republicans say President Obama’s administration sought to cover up.

Documents released by conservative government watchdog group Judicial Watch—and put forward by Senate Judiciary Committee ranking member Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform chairman Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA)—show that an assault rifle purchased as part of Fast and Furious was used in a Phoenix-area crime in July 2013 that left two people wounded.   Continue reading “Eric Holder’s Top Deputy Resigns amid Revelation Fast and Furious Guns Used in Phoenix Crime”

Ebola is brilliant.

It is a superior virus that has evolved and fine-tuned its mechanism of transmission to be near-perfect. That’s why we’re all so terrified. We know we can’t destroy it. All we can do is try to divert it, outrun it.   Continue reading “I’m a Hazmat-Trained Hospital Worker: Here’s What No One Is Telling You About Ebola”

Sweden Military Alert ABC News

Sweden’s military on Friday sent naval vessels, aircraft and home guard forces to investigate reports of “foreign underwater activity” in the Stockholm archipelago.

The Armed Forces said they launched an intelligence operation in the archipelago after receiving information “from a credible source.”

Armed Forces spokesman Jesper Tengroth wouldn’t say whether a submarine had been sighted or give any other details.   Continue reading “‘Foreign underwater activity’ reported in Sweden”

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW/AP) — The District of Columbia’s Voter Guide looks a little off this election cycle. The guides, which are reportedly sent out to more than 300,000 residents, show the D.C. stars and bars upside-down.

Residents that received the pamphlet were quick to voice the mistake on social media.

AUSTIN, Texas — As Ebola continued to ravage communities in West Africa this summer, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a division under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced “immigration relief measures” for citizens of three countries affected by the deadly virus.

The relief measures, announced on the USCIS website as “Ebola Outbreak-related Immigration Relief Measures to Nationals of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone Currently in the United States,” on August 15, 2014, include the following:   Continue reading “DHS Started Expediting Visa Extensions from Ebola Countries in August”

House lawmakers grilled CDC and NIH representatives yesterday in a hearing on the ongoing Ebola crisis. Democrats on the committee repeated over and over that we would have been better able to handle Ebola if it weren’t for budget cuts.

Even the NIH Director Francis Collins said recently, “Frankly, if we had not gone through our 10-year slide in research support, we probably would have had a vaccine in time for this that would’ve gone through clinical trials and would have been ready.”   Continue reading “NIH and CDC claim they have no money to handle Ebola”

Former U.S. president George W. Bush. (Reuters/Gary Cameron)RT

A classified US Senate probe into the CIA’s post-9/11 detention and interrogation program does not evaluate the role of former President George W. Bush or top administration officials in approving abuses including torture, according to a new report.

The Senate Intelligence Committee’s $40 million investigation into the Central Intelligence Agency’s detention and interrogation program – active from September 11, 2001 to 2006 – has found that the spy agency purposely deceived the US Justice Department to attain legal justification for the use of torture techniques, among other findings that resulted in a 6,000-page report, completed from March 2009 to December 2012. Of that investigative report, the public will only see a 500-page, partially-redacted executive summary that is in the process of declassification.   Continue reading “Senate refuses to blame Bush, senior aides in CIA torture investigation”

US President Barack Obama is set to appoint Ron Klain as the Ebola “czar” charged with coordinating government efforts in fight against the spread of the virus in the United States, CNN reports.

The news comes less than 24 hours after the president met with the country’s top health officials. Following the meeting, he told reporters that it might be appropriate to appoint an additional person to coordinate the response to Ebola in the United States.   Continue reading “Obama to appoint Ebola ‘czar’ charged with coordinating fight against epidemic”

For eight months, six astronauts will be essentially locked into a small dome in Hawaii as NASA attempts to study the consequences of living the quiet, lonely lifestyle that humans would experience on Mars.

Titled the Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation (HI-SEAS), the experiment will be NASA’s longest Mars-related simulation ever. It also happens to be the first time that a woman, 34-year-old Martha Lenio, is leading a Mars simulation project.    Continue reading “Lonely planet: Astronauts to simulate life on Mars for 8 months”

MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) — A day after dozens of gunshots were directed at police in three Washington state towns, law enforcement officials said little about what prompted the shootings.

They did say they were thankful no one was killed. After two police officers fired their guns Wednesday night, police said a 43-year-old man surrendered and was taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. Both officers have been placed on leave; neither was hurt.   Continue reading “Police in 3 Washington towns targeted by gunfire”

James ComeyMail.com

WASHINGTON (AP) — FBI Director James Comey warned in stark terms Thursday against the push by technology companies to encrypt smartphone data and operating systems, arguing that murder cases could be stalled, suspects could walk free and justice could be thwarted by a locked phone or an encrypted hard drive.

Privacy advocates and technology experts called the concerns exaggerated and little more than recycled arguments the government has raised against encryption since the early 1990s. Likening encrypted data to a safe that cannot be cracked or a closet door that won’t open, Comey said the move by tech companies to protect user communications in the name of privacy is certain to impede a wide range of criminal investigations. New legislation to allow law enforcement to intercept communications is needed at a time of advancing technology and new forms of communication, he said.    Continue reading “FBI director warns against cellphone encryption”

This was a blanket halt rather than just a halt on supply of Hellfire
missiles.    Continue reading “Israel may shift to domestic production after US halted supplies during Operation Protective Edge”
