The Swiss have unleashed a pretty wild storm in financial markets. All sorts of companies and people today are licking their wounds, and quite a few will simply have to fold. It’s no exception to be so leveraged in foreign exchange wagers that a move of a few percent can wipe you out, let alone one of 30%. Leverage makes sure that right off the bat a whole bunch of foreign exchange brokers, including FXCM, the biggest, are literally dead in the water – FXCM stock fell 90% -.   Continue reading “Central Banks Upside Down”

Refreshing Delicious Chocolate Milk with Real CocoaThe Organic Prepper

Stop the presses! Startling new research shows that chocolate milk does not require degrees in chemistry and engineering to make! Who knew? Certainly not the Big Food monsters like Nestle, Hershey, and all of those other purveyors of flavored chemistry projects.

Chocolate milk, that cold, creamy, decadent goodness, is one of life’s simple pleasures. But the kind that you get at the store isn’t so simple. The ingredients list sounds more like something you’d use to lubricate components on your car than wholesome things you’d want your children to consume.   Continue reading “Breaking News: Chocolate Milk Only Requires 3 Ingredients!!!!”

Occidental Dissent – by Hunter Wallace

It sure is a great thing that we are so blessed to live in a “republic” with a Supreme Court that has a 5-4 “conservative majority.” Striking down this “gay marriage” nonsense ought to be a snap, right?

“The swing vote remains Kennedy, who has authored the last three major rulings advancing the cause of gay rights. On one hand, he has defended voter-approved constitutional amendments, most recently in a Michigan case last year that upheld the state’s ban against racial preferences in university admissions. But he struck down the federal same-sex marriage ban as an affront to the constitutional rights of gays and lesbians.”

Government data reports are so funny. The blaring headlines today tells us that prices dropped in December. We are all saving billions from the drop in oil and gas. Hallelujah!!!

The corporate MSM never digs into the numbers to get the real truth. These reports and their distribution to the sheep are designed to keep you sedated and calm. Facts are not necessary. How this data pertains to your everyday life is not important to the .1% who control the flow of information.   Continue reading “No inflation unless you eat food, use water, live in a house or apartment, heat your home, get sick, travel, pay car insurance, go to school, mail letters, or do your taxes”

Federal bureaucrats are pressuring banks and credit unions to close accounts for gun shops and other law-abiding businesses in an attempt to shut down those enterprises. That is the charge a US Congressman and others are making about a US Department of Justice effort called Operation Choke Point.

“They figured that if they could cut off legal businesses’ ability to bank they could put those businesses that they don’t like out of business,” US Representative Sean Duffy (R-Wisconsin) said of Choke Point.   Continue reading “The Underhanded Way Feds Are Closing Hundreds Of Gun Shops”

While most Americans discount the possibility of a major conflict with Russia, Europeans who have seen two great wars in the last century know better.

The country of Lithuania, much like its neighbors, is preparing for a full-out invasion by Russian forces and their government is issuing a survival manual to its citizens. Though the complete details have yet to be released, the manual, among other things, advises citizens to “keep a sound mind, don’t panic and don’t lose clear thinking.”   Continue reading “Report: “Russian Invasion Survival Manual” To Be Issued To Citizens In European Union”

TACOMA, WA — A state bureaucracy is threatening a mother with removal of an infant unless her entire family subjects themselves to flu shots.

This is the dilemma that foster parent Jamie Smith is currently facing. The Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is giving the Tacoma family until February to comply with the mandated regimen of influenza vaccines — imposed on every member of the family — or else they will lose their youngest child, a 2-week-old foster infant that was born on Christmas.   Continue reading “Agency will confiscate infant if entire family doesn’t get flu shots”

PARIS (AP) — City officials in Reims say one of the terrorists responsible for attacks last week that killed 17 people was buried in the eastern French city over their objections and despite concerns that the grave could become a shrine for extremists.

Said Kouachi, the elder of the two brothers who together gunned down 12 people Jan. 7 in their attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, was buried at the demand of the French government, officials in Reims said in a statement Saturday.   Continue reading “Anonymous burial for 1 of 3 terrorists behind France attacks”

Brooklyn District Attorney Kenneth Thompson is launching a probe into allegations that New York City police officers have been planting weapons on suspects, the New York Daily News reported Thursday (Jan. 15).

The probe was announced after Thompson’s office dropped a weapons case in which the defendant was accused of having a gun outside his East Flatbush home in 2013, the report said.  When prosecutors were asked to produce a confidential informant who police said aided their investigation, they were unable to produce him, according to the story.   Continue reading “Brooklyn DA to probe allegations of NYPD officers planting guns, newspaper reports”
