Freedom Outpost – by David Risselada

Forward: If there is one thing that has become obvious when it comes to President Obama’s “fundamental transformation,” it is that there is without a doubt, an agenda to disarm American citizens and do away with the Second Amendment. Many Americans make the mistake of believing that this is Obama’s agenda alone, and that he is primarily responsible for the rapid pace at which America is descending into chaos. This may be true on some levels, particularly when it comes to advancing the agenda through community organizing type tactics; however, it is safer to say that Obama was selected by the global elite to put the finishing touches on an agenda that began long ago and is now reaching its culmination.   Continue reading “Deceptive Transformation: The Truth of Soviet Influence in America and Gun Control”

Harley-Davidson has been known as an American motorcycle company, but recently a DC area Harley-Davidson thought it would be a good idea to sponsor a rally for the Nation of Islam for black bikers on the 20th anniversary of Louis Farrakhan’s “Million Man March.” Needless to say, they got an earful from true Americans and customers, or should we say “former customers”?

The Harley dealership, owned by Joyce and Thomas Moorehead, declares that the dealership will be a rally point for black bikers attending the rally. This rally Louis Farrakhan has named “Ride for Justice.”   Continue reading “Harley Davidson Dealership Announced Its Facilities as Meeting Place for Nation of Islam Rally – And the People Spoke Out”

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo renewed calls for national gun-control legislation on Tuesday, after one of his aides was critically injured by a stray bullet in crossfire between two rival gangs in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Following the 2012 school shootings in Newtown, Conn., Governor Cuomo oversaw passage of the state’s sweeping gun control laws that are considered the strictest in the United States. At the time, President Obama launched an aggressive gun-control push, but his efforts failed in Congress. Gun rights activists have maintained that such legislation would violate the right to bear arms that is enshrined in the the Second Amendment.   Continue reading “New York governor calls for national gun control following parade shooting”

I write a lot about edgy, semi-dangerous scientific projects. So, I get a lot of suggestions from people who want to share their own ideas for risky home projects. I like the reader engagement, but four times out of five, the ideas are dumb, and borderline deadly. Listen to me: if it involves a pipe, match heads, and gasoline, I guarantee you, it’s a bad idea.

Some ideas show more creativity than others. A lot involve diabolical reuses for simple household items. Here are seven such suggestions—oh, and by the way, don’t ever make any of them.   Continue reading “7 Deadly Weapons You Should Never Ever Make Out of Harmless Household Items”

After the Fed admitted over a year ago that the US unemployment rate (which in 2012 was supposed to be a rate hike “threshold” once it hit 6.5% and is now at 5.1%) has become irrelevant in a country where a record 94 million people have left the labor force, and with the Fed poised to hike rates even though US hourly wages have not only not increased for the past 7 years, but for the vast majority of the labor force continue to decline, some have asked – is there any labor-related chart that matters any more?

The answer: a resounding yes, only it is none of the conventional charts that algos and sometimes humans look at.   Continue reading “698K Native-Born Americans Lost Their Job In August: Why This Suddenly Is The Most Important Jobs Chart”

In his wildest dreams Donald Trump could not have imagined his campaign going this well. There is just no way. As I write this, Trump continues to dominate the GOP field and is also beginning to overtake his Democrat rivals in the most recent polling. (Leading Clinton by 5 in Iowa and trailing her by just 1 in New Hampshire.)

While I’ve never been on the Trump bandwagon (though I have appreciated some of what he has said), I am beginning to grow very excited about the possibility that he is changing the national conversation on certain issues — illegal immigration being the most prominent of these issues.   Continue reading “Donald Trump on a Roll – 64% of Americans Want to Build a Fence on Mexican Border”

SARAH PALIN: The chicken crossed the road because, gosh-darn it, he’s a maverick!

BARACK OBAMA: Let me be perfectly clear, if the chickens like their eggs they can keep their eggs. No chicken will be required to cross the road to surrender her eggs. Period.

JOHN McCAIN: My friends, the chicken crossed the road because he recognized the need to engage in cooperation and dialogue with all the chickens on the other side of the road.

HILLARY CLINTON: What difference at this point does it make why the chicken crossed the road?   Continue reading “So, why DID the chicken cross the road?”

The attorney for Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who was jailed last week for refusing to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples, has been ordered released, her attorney, Roger Gannam, told Yahoo News.

Davis, a clerk in Rowan County, Ky., was sent to jail Thursday for refusing to comply with several court orders to issue marriage licenses to gay couples following the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling in June on the basis of her “religious conviction.”   Continue reading “Kim Davis to be released from prison, attorney says”

Caracas (AFP) – Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro has ordered more of his country’s vast border with Colombia closed amid a diplomatic crisis over deportations and smuggling.

“I have decided to close the border crossing at Paraguachon, Zulia state,” Maduro said in a televised address. He said he would send an additional 3,000 troops to the area.

This happened some 63 years ago, but as the U.S. government has never stopped lying about it, and it’s generally known only outside the United States, I’m going to treat it as news.

Here in our little U.S. bubble we’ve heard of a couple versions of a film called The Manchurian Candidate. We’ve heard of the general concept of “brainwashing” and may even associate it with something evil that the Chinese supposedly did to U.S. prisoners during the Korean War. And I’d be willing to bet that the majority of people who’ve heard of these things have at least a vague sense that they’re bullshit.   Continue reading “U.S. Drops Fleas With Bubonic Plague on North Korea”

The UK Ministry of Defence admits that a submarine that damaged a British trawler in April this year was one of its own, not Russian. Earlier, Fleet Street was awash with speculation that a ‘hostile Russian sub’ had nearly destroyed the fishing vessel.

“…the RN [the Royal Navy] has now confirmed that a UK submarine was, in fact, responsible for snagging the KAREN’s [fishing vessel] nets,” Penny Mordaunt, minister of state for the Armed Forces, said in a statement.    Continue reading “‘Oops, it was us’: Military concedes British sub, not Russian, damaged UK trawler in April”

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkish ground forces crossed into northern Iraq on Tuesday for the first time since 2011 in a “short-term” operation to hunt down Kurdish rebels, a Turkish government official said, as Turkish jets carried out more airstrikes against rebel camps in the region.

A roadside bomb blamed on the rebels, meanwhile, killed 14 police officers in eastern Turkey. The troops crossed the border as part of a “hot pursuit” of rebels belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, who were involved in a roadside bomb attack that killed 16 soldiers on Sunday, the government official said.   Continue reading “Turkish forces cross into Iraq for short-term PKK operation”

Which of these new “codes” will be used to take guns away from American Nationals?

Mail.com

WASHINGTON (AP) — If things are a bit tense in your doctor’s office come Oct. 1, some behind-the-scenes red tape could be to blame.

That’s the day when the nation’s physicians and hospitals must start using a massive new coding system to describe your visit on insurance claims so they get paid. Today, U.S. health providers use a system of roughly 14,000 codes to designate a diagnosis, for reimbursement purposes and in medical databases. To get more precise, the updated system has about 68,000 codes, essentially an expanded dictionary to capture more of the details from a patient’s chart.   Continue reading “More precise medical codes aim to track quality of care”

The Daily Sheeple – by Joshua Krause

When Colorado decided to legalize the recreational use of marijuana, everyone expected the state’s tax revenue to increase. What they didn’t realize at the time was that the state government might actually make too much money. So far the state has earned over $150 million from the 30% tax on pot, which exceeded expectations.

Now they may have to pay some of that money back to the taxpayers. According to a 1992 amendment to Colorado’s constitution called the ‘Taxpayer Bill of Rights’ when the state earns more than they anticipated from a given industry, they have to return the difference to the people. When pot was first legalized the state didn’t expect a whole lot of money, so they underestimated future profits. Now they’ll have to find some way to give $50 million back to the public.   Continue reading “Pot Revenue Is So High in Colorado, State Will Have to Reimburse Taxpayers”

Philadelphia, PA — A dog rescuer was recently harassed by local police for walking his dogs in a public park. When a video of the encounter went viral, agents from the Department of Homeland Security were sent to his home, because of alleged “anti-cop” posts that were seen on his Facebook page.

Independent dog rescuer Damion Trakas has been taking dogs off the streets for years and has had great success training them to be well-mannered and friendly. Many of the dogs that Damion rescues are pit bulls. Unfortunately, although the dogs are well-behaved, there is still a social stigma against the breed, and he has faced regular persecution for taking his dogs to the Cione Park near his house.   Continue reading “Dog Rescuer Visited By Homeland Security for Making Facebook Posts About Cops Shooting Dogs”
