A prepper homestead is something that must be built over a period of time – it’s absolutely not a plug-and-play solution, regardless of the extent of survival seed packets you have carefully stashed away. WASHINGTON – The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence is calling for the resignation of Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin, effective immediately. The Campaign has also called for his replacement as lead investigator of the Umpqua Community College shooting.

An Amtrak passenger train has derailed in Northfield, Vermont, and emergency personnel are responding, the company said on its Twitter account.

I was still in grade school when I noticed that America was never allowed to win wars. We did have a lot of wars but they were all designed to benefit the Banks, Israel or some other power occupying our nation. Currently, our policy towards Afghanistan seems to be dictated in part by the CIA’s desire to corner the global heroin market even if it means killing people and wasting money by the hundreds of billions. Operation Enduring Freedom, the bombing of Afghanistan, began on October 7, 2001. That was 14 years ago. At about that same time General Wesley Clark went to the Pentagon and learned what the other determining force in American foreign policy was. The mayor of Stockton,California was briefly detained and had two of his laptops and a cell phone confiscated by homeland security agents at the San Francisco International Airport earlier this week after returning from a trip to China.

“A few minutes later, DHS agents confiscated all my electronic devices including my personal cell phone. Unfortunately, they were not willing or able to produce a search warrant or any court documents suggesting they had a legal right to take my property.
