The Snowball Method is a snazzy little trick that can help you pay off debt as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Many Americans owe so much money that they have no idea how they’ll manage to pay it off, and Christmas just made it worse. Even though the bills haven’t come rolling in yet, a survey from T. Rowe Price speculated that average spending this year would be $422 per child. (Which means half of Americans intended to spend more than that.) Because many Americans have little cash to spare, it’s a safe bet that these Christmas gifts were directly added to credit card debt.   Continue reading “How to Use the Snowball Method to Get Out of Debt Quickly”

First, it was China which lodged a protest against the US defense bill, which was signed by Barack Obama late on Friday and which, among other things, contained a provision to establish as US “ministry of truth” and media propaganda. On Sunday, China lodged “stern representations” with the United States after Obama signed the NDAA into law which suggests a plan to conduct high-level military exchanges with self-ruled Taiwan. Part of the $618.7 billion National Defense Authorization Act “expresses the sense of Congress that (the U.S. Department of Defense) should conduct a program of senior military exchanges between the United States and Taiwan“.   Continue reading “Russia Warns Any Attempt By Obama To Arm Syrian Rebels Will Be Seen As A “Hostile Act””

Trump’s economic plan has sent stocks ripping higher for six weeks straight. But what’s going to happen to stock prices when Congress gives Trump’s plan a big thumbs down? Has anyone thought about that yet?

And what about the Fed? Does anyone seriously think that Fed chairman Janet Yellen is going to sit on her hands while Trump launches a $1 trillion fiscal stimulus package that triggers a sudden burst of growth followed by a sharp uptick in inflation?

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — While lawyers desperately tried to restore the impeached South Korean president’s powers, politics advanced without her Tuesday as parties and potential candidates postured for elections that could take place in just months.

Miss Sloane was supposed to be an effective gun hater propaganda masterpiece. It should have been considering the money spent on it.

The production budget for “Miss Sloane” is reported at 18 million, with one of the top advertising budgets for movies, ever, of 15.9 million. Total box office, so far is just short of 3.2 million. It seems likely to be a major loser. Prospects for video sales look dim.   Continue reading “Gun Hater Propaganda Movie Bombs at Box Office”
