Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) took aim at the current political environment, including apparent veiled swipes at President Trump, during a speech on Monday night.

“We have to fight against propaganda and crackpot conspiracy theories. We have to fight isolationism, protectionism, and nativism. We have to defeat those who would worsen our divisions,” McCain said at the Brigade of Midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.    Continue reading “McCain: We must fight ‘propaganda and crackpot conspiracy theories’”

Why Israel’s Stealth F-35I Is Truly One of a Kind

For fifty years, the United States has provided top-of-the-line fighter aircraft to help defend Israel from attack. Israel’s fielding of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, known locally as Adir, continues that tradition even as the country puts its own technological touch on the fifth-generation fighter. Unlike other F-35 customers, Israel is modifying its fighters from the outset to address unique security challenges and the country’s technological capabilities.   Continue reading “Why Israel’s Stealth F-35I Is Truly One of a Kind”

The last time there was a widespread physical gold counterfeiting scare was in the summer of 2012 when as we reported the discovery of a single 10 oz Tungsten-filled gold bar in Manhattan’s jewelry district led to a panic among the dealer community, which then resulted in local jewelry outlets discovering at least ten more fake 10-ounce “gold bars” filled with Tungsten. Fast forward to today when a similar instance of gold counterfeiting has been discovered, this time in Canada, and where the fake bar in question had been “certified” by the highest possible authority.   Continue reading ““This Could Be Huge”: Gold Bar Certified By Royal Canadian Mint Exposed As Fake”

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg announced Friday that she would not retire from the Supreme Court anytime soon.

“My answer is as long as I can do the job full steam, I will do it,” Ginsburg told supporters at an Equal Justice Works event.

“I used to have an answer; it worked for a lot of years. It was Justice [Louis] Brandeis when he was appointed. He was the same age as I was, 60. And he stayed for 23 years, so I expect to stay at least as long. Well, now I’ve passed Brandeis, I’ve passed [Justice Felix] Frankfurter,” she added.   Continue reading “Justice Ginsburg: I Will Not Retire from the Supreme Court Anytime Soon”

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Donald Trump’s top national security aides pushed back on Monday against U.S. lawmakers calling for a new congressional war authorization, saying it would be a mistake to impose geographic or time limits on the campaign against Islamic State and other militant groups.

“War is fundamentally unpredictable,” Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis told a Senate hearing about a potential new authorization for the use of military force, or AUMF, Congress’ most significant step in years toward taking back control of its constitutional right to authorize war.   Continue reading “Trump administration does not want limits on war authorization”

At the end of the latest legislation session Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed a bill removing mandatory enhanced sentencing for criminals who use guns in the commission of their crimes.

He did this at the same time that he signed other legislation making it illegal for teachers to be armed on K-12 campuses for self-defense.

Liberal logic–teachers are not allowed to shoot back if under attack and criminals face no mandatory sentence enhancement for using a gun in carrying out an attack.   Continue reading “Gov. Jerry Brown Signs Bill Removing Penalty for Using Gun in Crime”

West Nanticoke, PA — The friends and family of a homeless father are now mourning his death after he was reportedly shot and killed by a local game warden. Although the man had a history of run-ins with the law, his family claims he was not violent.

Friends say Bohinski retrieved binoculars because he believed a boat had capsized in the river and he wanted to see it. Currently, there’s a great deal of rightful speculation and scientific concern about the push for 5G wireless, including the unbelievable number of small cell towers needed to implement that bandwidth, which is expected to operate using millimeter wave bands  between 20 – 60 GHz.

Furthermore, cell tower manufacturers are going to all conceivable lengths to disguise and hide them, as you will read in American Tower, Philips Lighting team up to hide small cells inside street lights.”

NEW YORK (Reuters) – A federal judge in Washington on Monday blocked President Donald Trump from banning transgender people from serving in the U.S. military, handing a victory to transgender service members who accused the president of violating their constitutional rights.

Trump in July said he would ban transgender people from the military in a move that would reverse Democratic former President Barack Obama’s policy and halt years of efforts to eliminate barriers to military service based on sexual orientation or gender identity.   Continue reading “U.S. court blocks Trump’s transgender military ban”
