AUSTIN (KXAN) — Three Texas Department of Public Safety troopers were injured and five people were arrested during a protest in downtown Austin Saturday, including one who pointed a gun at officers.

DPS said there were two opposing protests happening at the Texas State Capitol. One was an “anti-sanctuary cities” demonstration and one was an “anti-xenophobia in Austin” protest. Dec 08, 2017 — The official arm of the Mexican government in New York State is touring St. Lawrence County. Mexico’s consulate wants to reach out to Mexican citizens across the North Country, including dairy farm workers without legal papers.

Mexico has more consulates in the United States than any other country has anywhere. The one in New York City has been working to expand its presence north into Upstate New York. Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the withdrawal of Russian troops from Syria. He announced the move during his first visit to the country, as he arrived with no advance notice at Khmeimim Airbase in Syria’s Latakia province on Monday morning.

A “significant part” of the Russian military contingent in Syria should return to Russia, Putin announced, addressing Russian military personnel at Khmeimim. It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Dr Dean Lorich was found dead this afternoon, Sunday, December 10th in his Park Avenue, Upper East Side home. He was 54 years old.

A 3-mile (5 km) wide asteroid, named 3200 Phaethon, will comes ‘close’ to Earth this week, bringing with it the stunning Geminids meteor shower.

The shower will peak this Wednesday night, December 13th, when up to 120 shooting stars could tear through our skies every hour.

The new C-team is vague gloss from a paint job on a used car. This is an ominous sign for the news bosses in the upstairs suites.
