The massive Equifax data breach, which compromised the identities of more than 145 million Americans, prompted a telling response from Congress: It did nothing.

Some industry leaders and lawmakers thought September’s revelation of the massive intrusion — which took place months after the credit reporting agency failed to act on a warning from the Homeland Security Department — might be the long-envisioned incident that prompted Congress to finally fix the country’s confusing and ineffectual data security laws.   Continue reading “After Equifax breach, anger but no action in Congress”

Boron is an important, and often underutilized, trace mineral naturally present in certain foods and also within the environment. Boron uses include the ability to help keep the skeletal structure strong by adding to bonedensity, preventing osteoporosis, treating conditions like arthritis, and improving strength and muscle mass.

Boron is used by many athletes and bodybuilders because it’s believed to increase the body’s ability to produce and use testosterone, so it’s beneficial for recovering from exercise, preventing aches and pains, building muscle mass, and keeping bones strong. Additionally, boron is linked to improved brain function in some instances since it helps boost concentration, focus and the ability to learn new information.
