Update: It appears that either the British government can’t keep its lies and proof-less accusations straight or something far more nefarious is at play.

Following headlines (below) that British government scientists admitted they couldn’t tell where the poison – identified by the UK as A-234, also known as Novichok, used in the Salisbury poisoning of the Skripals – came from, undermining a number of claims to come out of Westminster, The UK Foreign Office denies claiming the nerve agent used in the Salisbury poisoning of the Skripals came directly from Russia, despite admitting it sent a tweet saying exactly that, and Boris Johnson making the same claim.  Continue reading “UK Foreign Office Denies Claiming Russia Responsible For Nerve Agent, Deletes Tweet”

Piers Morgan used a series of tweets Monday to call for a ban on all semi-automatic guns and stress his conviction that “no civilian needs one.”

His call for a ban on semi-automatic firearms was followed by other tweets in which he told Americans that the Second Amendment was never intended to protect an individual right to keep and bear arms. Rather, it was only intended to protect militias members’ ability to be armed.   Continue reading “Piers Morgan: Ban All Semi-Automatic Guns, ‘No Civilian Needs One’”

Since the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was signed in 1993, the rise in the U.S. trade deficit with Canada and Mexico through 2002 has caused the displacement of production that supported 879,280 U.S. jobs. Most of those lost jobs were high-wage positions in manufacturing industries. The loss of these jobs is just the most visible tip of NAFTA’s impact on the U.S. economy. In fact, NAFTA has also contributed to rising income inequality, suppressed real wages for production workers, weakened workers’ collective bargaining powers and ability to organize unions, and reduced fringe benefits.

As about 1,500 Central American migrants with the open borders group Pueblo Sin Fronteras are traveling through Mexico and will soon reach the southern border, where they will likely request asylum in the U.S., experts say there are steps President Trump’s administration can take to block the group from entering the country.

Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) Director of Policy Jessica Vaughan called the caravan of migrants a “Walkathon for open borders” and a “stunt to try to test” the U.S. immigration system and the Trump administration, in an interview with talk radio host Larry O’Connor.  Continue reading “Experts: Caravan of Central Americans a ‘Walkathon for Open Borders,’ ‘Inevitable’ Result of Pushing Amnesty”

Halfway through FY 2018, only 10,548 refugees have been admitted to the United States, according to the State Department website.

If refugee admissions continue at the same pace for the final six months of FY 2018, the total number of refugees resettled in the United States will be just a little more than 21,000 – the lowest level of admissions since the refugee program began in 1980, and less than half of the 45,000 “ceiling” for refugees announced for FY 2018 by President Trump in September.   Continue reading “Halfway Through FY 2018, Only 10,548 Refugees Have Been Admitted to U.S.”

The Centers for Disease Control is saying that “nightmare bacteria” are attempting to spread themselves across the United States. These new bacteria allegedly have the power to resist antibiotics and the media is hyping up the fear rhetoric.

Antibiotic-resistant germs kill about 23,000 Americans every year, however, Federal health officials have said new and massively aggressive testing can help keep these “nightmare bacteria” from spreading. According to NBC News, a new program for testing suspect bacteria turned up unusual antibiotic-resistance genes 221 times in 2017, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported. Additionally,  11 percent of people screened for these superbugs carried them, even though they had no symptoms, the CDC said.   Continue reading “The CDC Warns Of “Nightmare Bacteria” That’s Trying To Spread In The US”

Despite a visible and encouraging thaw in relations between North Korea and South Korea, Pyongyang appears to be readying a move that could torpedo upcoming talks with the US and bring about an all-out war.

The move in question isn’t a missile launch, which has often stoked tensions, but a satellite launch — and it demonstrates how fraught talks between the US and North Korea have become.  Continue reading “North Korea looks to be preparing a launch that could torpedo talks and bring a full-on war with the US”
