WEB Notes: We just discussed the possibility of peace between North Korea and the world. Today, we are a step closer to that reality as the leaders of North and South Korea made a historic pledge for peace. To remove nuclear weapons from the Korean peninsula. You can see this historic moment in the video below…
You will note in the video Kim Jung Un shakes the hand of the South Korean leader as they stand on each side of their own border. Kim takes a step over to the South and the two leaders speak for a moment. Then you can see Kim tell the South Korean leader to step on the North side and they both go together holding hands.

A showdown is brewing in the State of Oregon following gun control advocates’ proposed assault weapons ban called Initiative Proposition 43 (IP43). Under the guise of “gun control” and “safety of our children,” proponents of the measure aim to effectively ban all weapons produced since the Civil War. But several counties are pushing back with their own Second Amendment Preservation Ordinances.
Klamath and Deschutes Counties are attempting to push back against the ordinance by passing their own county-wide ordinances to disallow the county sheriff from enforcing any state or federal law which would infringe on county residents’ rights to keep and bear arms. It’s effectively a ban on gun bans. Continue reading “Multiple Cities Come Together to Pass Ordinances Making it Illegal to Ban Guns”
OAK CITY, N.C. — For the sake of a greener Europe, thousands of American trees are falling each month in the forests outside this cotton-country town.
Every morning, logging crews go to work in densely wooded bottomlands along the Roanoke River, clearing out every tree and shrub down to the bare dirt. Each day, dozens of trucks haul freshly cut oaks and poplars to a nearby factory where the wood is converted into small pellets, to be used as fuel in European power plants. Continue reading “How Europe’s climate policies have led to more trees being cut down in the U.S.”
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen sent a message to members of the “migrant caravan” who are now in Tijuana. The migrants announced they plan to enter the U.S. in massive numbers to declare asylum. Neilsen also addressed her warning to the organizers who may be coaching migrants on how to falsely make a “credible fear” claim.
“If you enter our country illegally, you have broken the law and will be referred for prosecution,” Nielsen stated on Wednesday. “If you make a false immigration claim, you have broken the law and will be referred for prosecution. If you assist or coach an individual in making a false immigration claim, you have broken the law and will be referred for prosecution.” Continue reading “DHS to ‘Caravan’ Migrants: False Asylum Claims Will Be Prosecuted”

As a resident of Oklahoma I have to say that I fully support this bill!
The process to attain a permit at the moment is a tad silly. I suspect that it is more about the money made than being sure that those carrying are qualified. There is very little on gun safety during class or range testing which is what most new shooters really needed. There is some information on legalities but most should be common sense. American warplanes are being jammed as they fly missions over Syria, preventing them from telling friend from foe on the battlefield.
General Raymond Thomas, head of U.S. Special Operations Command, said unspecified ‘adversaries’ were ramping up cyber attacks in the region.
He said the Air Force AC-130 gunship was ‘aggressively’ targeted, which could force it to abort missions and leave ground forces exposed. Continue reading “Air Force gunships in Syria are being jammed by ‘adversaries’ rendering blind and unable to help under-siege troops, special ops general says”
So is it really the end of the American car on its home turf?
From the way Detroit’s major executives are talking, it would seem so.
Ford said Wednesday it will only offer two new cars in North America over the coming years — its iconic Mustang and the Focus Active, a rugged-looking hatchback that has already debuted in Europe, and somewhat resembles the Subaru Crosstrek or the Buick Regal TourX.
