Paris is on lockdown as armed police battle to contain ‘yellow vest’ demonstrators with more than 700 arrests so far today in the fourth straight weekend of demonstrations over living costs and proposed tax rises in France.

When a 69-year-old Seattle woman underwent brain surgery earlier this year at Swedish Medical Center, her doctors were stumped.
Last January, the woman was admitted to the hospital’s emergency department after suffering a seizure. Doctors took a CT scan of her brain to determine the cause, finding what they initially thought was a tumor. But an examination of tissue taken from her brain during surgery a day later showed she was up against a much deadlier attack, one that had been underway for about a year and was literally eating her alive. A federal judge has ordered the U.S. State and Justice Departments to reopen the case to determine if Hillary Clinton used a private email server to avoid public disclosure laws during her tenure as Secretary of State.
In doing so, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth, an appointee of Ronald Reagan, eviscerated the previous administration’s claims of transparency, something President Obama touted throughout his time in the White House. US and allied forces in eastern Syria need to complete training between 35,000 to 40,000 local troops to establish stability in eastern Syria following the defeat and expulsion of the Daesh terror group in those areas, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Joseph Dunford said.
“We estimate about 35,000 to 40,000 local forces have to be trained and equipped in order to provide stability,” Dunford said at a Washington Post event on Thursday. “We are probably somewhere along the line of 20 percent through the training of those forces.” Continue reading “US looks to train at least 40,000 forces in Syria”
A new report on Thursday by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) discovered the largest continuous oil and gas resources EVER in the Texas and New Mexico Delaware Basin.

California is proposing now to tax every text message you do on your phone. I have constantly warned after dealing with governments first hand for over 30 years, they NEVER see the problem as being them – it is always we the people. Their fiscal mismanagement is beyond repair and we should not expect anything other than death and taxes. You work your entire life and then want to retire and they still want taxes on your retirement funds. Then you die and they rush in to grab what is left.
