Kamala Harris, the junior senator from California, was chosen today to be Joe Biden’s running mate. A version of this article was first published in January of 2019.

Harris, 55, is a progressive on most issues who draws some ire from the left for her tough-on-crime posture when she was California’s attorney general. She gained many admirers among Democratic voters during her candidacy for the Democratic nomination, and her selection fulfills Biden’s promise to pick a woman for his running mate. I had reached out to several news outlets trying to seek assistance with the ridiculous “administrative fees” that I was being charged by NJ EZ-Pass on behalf of the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

Only one returned my e-mail, Karin Price Mueller from NJAdvanceMedia.com. She inquired about why I was charged these fees when 79,000 other people on the NJ Turnpike never received their first notices and were being wrongfully charged similar late fees (they have all since been waived and/or refunded). ‘If faculty want to preach that Marxism is a triumph of human thought, so be it. If other faculty want to argue that actually it was a disaster, and a crime against humanity, this view should no longer be fanatically censored’

A longtime economics professor at Wright State University who has repeatedly requested permission to teach a class critical of Marxism has been rebuffed by his bosses and peers who appear unwilling to allow the topic to be taught to the general student population. The Fort Hood military base in Texas has come under extreme scrutiny in recent months, as numerous dead soldiers were found on or around the base. This week, the base was in the news again after two Fort Hood soldiers were caught up in a child trafficking bust. The soldiers were among nine Texas residents who were arrested during a two-day child sex trafficking sting in Killeen, the city where the base is located.

The overall goal of this joint effort was to locate and arrest subjects who were willing to make overt efforts to pay minors to engage in sexual acts,” police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said, according to KWTX. From coast to coast, Americans everywhere are rising up against pedophilia and human trafficking as part of a growing movement known as “Save the Children.” But a #savethechildren hashtag that had begun to go viral on social media has been banned from Facebook, which apparently now caters to pedophiles.

The arrest and death of Jeffrey Epstein combined with continued circulating news about Hollywood child sex abuse has indeed sparked a wave of outrage that is spilling over into our streets as well as online. And Big Tech, which is presumably implicated, is now trying to put the worms back into the proverbial can with mass censorship.
