Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido confirmed this weekend that his diplomats are seeking to open a direct line of communication with the US military, and would use them for “coordination” of possible military action to impose regime change.

Guaido said having direct lines of communication between him and the Pentagon would put more pressure on President Maduro to resign. Admiral Craif Faller, the head of South Command, says he “looks forward” to supporting the members of Venezuela’s military “who make the right decision,” which is to say backing the US-supported takeover by Guaido.  Continue reading “Venezuela’s Guaido Wants Direct Communication With US Military”

Ammoland recently ran an article by a fake prepper group that claims you don’t need to stockpile ammo, since you can’t fight a national military invasion anyway. The group — which is obviously a front run by the anti-American intelligence community — claims to cite scientific evidence that “proves” you don’t need to stockpile ammo. Among this sketchy evidence is the claim that police officers in New York City “fire an average of only two point nine shots per [shooting] incident.”

So there. You don’t need any ammunition. Cops only fire fewer than 3 rounds per shooting incident, see?  Continue reading “Ammo stockpiling: Four more reasons buying more ammo is one of the smartest things you’ll ever do before SHTF”

The US peace deal for the Middle East includes establishing Israeli law over the Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank, an Israeli TV channel has reported. The condition has been a no-go for Palestine.

More than two years in the making and bogged down by delays, the Trump administration’s “peace deal” for Israel and Palestine is finally expected to be unveiled next month. With that day approaching, parts of the draft, shrouded in a thick veil of secrecy, have been leaked to media, confirming the general expectations of it being heavily skewed in Israel’s favor.   Continue reading “Trump’s ‘deal of the century’ will give Israel control over West Bank settlements – report”

Uber’s IPO this week came with predictable headlines about the rich getting richer — after all, when a company goes public at a valuation of more than $80 billion, that’s what usually happens. This particular offering, however, created a whole lot of losers.

By the numbers: From 2016 onwards, per PitchBook, Uber raised $15.35 billion at $48.77 per share; it then raised another $8.6 billion in its IPO on Thursday at the slightly lower price of $45 per share. Those numbers dwarf the $5.6 billion that Uber raised before 2016. As of the close of trade on Friday, the market has now spoken: Uber shares are actually worth $41.57.

It might be the biggest price-fixing scheme in U.S. history. On Friday, Connecticut and a coalition of more than 40 states filed a 500-page lawsuit accusing the biggest generic drug makers of a massive, systematic conspiracy to bilk consumers out of billions of dollars. It’s a more sweeping version of a similar lawsuit the states filed in 2016 that’s still being litigated. The generic industry vehemently denies the allegations.  Continue reading “Sweeping lawsuit accuses top generic drug companies, executives of fixing prices”

Four in 10 Americans sometimes face what economists call “material hardship,” struggling to pay for basic needs such as food and housing, according to a new study from the Urban Institute. Even middle-class families routinely struggle financially and are occasionally unable to pay their bills.

The finding is striking given the U.S. has experienced a decade of economic growth in the decade since the recession ended. The unemployment rate is at its lowest in half a century, and the stock market has enjoyed a decade-long bull run. But for many Americans, incomes haven’t kept up with the rising cost of necessities such as housing and health care, resulting in financial anxiety.  Continue reading “A decade after the recession, 40% of U.S. families still struggling”

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) warned that America “came very close” to suffering its “first successful coup,” describing Robert Mueller’s operation — marketed as an “investigation” by authorities — as an attempt to usurp a duly elected president. He offered his remarks in a Friday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.  Continue reading “Louie Gohmert: ‘This Came Very Close to Being the First Successful Coup’ in U.S. History”

No kidding – this is not our headline, but Newsweek’s“US Special Forces School Publishes New Guide For Overthrowing Foreign Governments” – and as far as we can tell they are the only major mainstream outlet to have picked up on the fact that the US military is now essentially openly bragging on past and future capabilities to foster covert regime change operations.

The 250-page study entitled “Support to Resistance: Strategic Purpose and Effectiveness” was put out by the Joint Special Operations University under US Special Operations Command, which is the Army’s official unified command center which overseas all joint covert and clandestine missions out of MacDill AFB, Florida.  Continue reading “US Special Forces Command Issues New Guide For Overthrowing Foreign Governments”

So much for the trade war being “good and easy to win.” Let’s be honest. Trump has been grinding away on it for almost a year now, and China has barely flinched in its negotiations. On Friday the tariff war became personal because it will now tap your own budget and every business budget in town.  Continue reading “Hopium Floats, and That’s How the Market got High on Friday”

Ed.’s note: Have readers ever taken a few minutes to wonder how it is that a country like Ukraine can be so screwed up on many different levels? Consider for a moment it was George Soros financed NGOs that for the past 25 years wrote many of the text books used in schools in Ukraine and believe it or not, published in Canada. Of course, Soros is a highly paid actor, the face of the real “movers and shakers behind the curtains“. The public schools in America are nothing but factories of ideological propaganda for the left and Americans call that “getting an education.” The plan is to make students ideologically radical especially with LGBTQ political programming which is nothing but pure poison creating a disaster in public schools across America. Welcome to the immigrant industry…  Continue reading “A Criminal Phenomenon”

Truth Dig – by Gareth Porter

John Bolton has gotten away with a dangerous deception. The national security adviser’s announcement Sunday that the Pentagon has deployed air and naval forces to the Middle East, which he combined with a threat to Iran, points to a new maneuver to prepare the ground for an incident that could justify a retaliatory attack against Iran.

Bolton presented his threat and the deployments as a response to alleged intelligence about a possible Iranian attack on U.S. targets in the Middle East. But what has emerged indicates that the alleged intelligence does not actually reflect any dramatic new information or analysis from the U.S. intelligence community. Instead, it has all the hallmarks of a highly political case concocted by Bolton.  Continue reading “Bolton Is Spinning Israeli ‘Intelligence’ to Push for War Against Iran”
