President Trump told reporters on Saturday that his the White House and Congressional leaders are “studying very deeply, round the clock” to roll out a phase II tax cut for middle-class Americans before midterms.

US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin praised investment opportunities in Israel on Sunday and said Washington would increase its participation in infrastructure projects there.

CIUDAD HIDALGO, Mexico (AP) — About 2,000 Central American migrants who circumvented Mexican police at a border bridge and swam, forded and floated across the river from Guatemala decided on Saturday to re-form their mass caravan and continue their trek northward toward the United States.

A police officer was shot and killed near a school in Georgia after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle, authorities said.
Antwan Toney and another officer approached a vehicle near the Shiloh Middle School in Snellville to check out a report of people smoking marijuana, according to Sgt. Years of US allegations that Russia is violating the Intermediate Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) may be coming to a head, with John Bolton reportedly pushing hard for President Trump to withdraw outright from the pact.

A Nebraska school cook is in hot water after he served students chili containing a mixture of beef and kangaroo meat.
Kevin Frei said he added the ingredient because it was a lean source of protein. But his choice did not go down well with parents who complained that they didn’t want their children being served “exotic meat.” Some even complained that their kids had felt sick after the meal, despite kangaroo meat not being harmful. Research from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) claims that, over a nine-year period, police officers in the U.S. were charged with over 400 rapes.
According to the research, which can be found here, officers in the U.S. were charged with forcible rape 405 times between 2005 and 2013. That’s an average of 45 a year.
