The entire Left-wing media has erupted today over the so-called “white nationalist” protest in Charlottesville where right-wing groups are protesting the systematic destruction of war monuments and white history in general. It’s worth noting that if the same event were flipped to Muslims, or African-Americans or women, it would be heralded by the Left-wing media as “courageous resistance” against tyranny and oppression. But because the attendees are mostly white conservatives, the event is portrayed as a neo-Nazi, almost “KKK” rally-ish in nature, which is of course a wild misrepresentation of what’s actually happening there. As usual, the Left totally freaks out over everything and sees pointy white hats everywhere they look. Liberty Blitzkrieg – by Michael Krieger
I’m going to keep this relatively short. I’ve written thousands of articles over the years, and anyone who’s read me for any period of time knows where I stand when it comes to hatred, bigotry and violence. I find all these things repulsive, and think people who gravitate to such behavior to be operating on such a low level of awareness, it’s genuinely hard for me to believe these people exist in real life.
I published my seminal piece discussing the repulsion I feel with today’s political environment back in February in the post, Lost in the Political Wilderness. Now’s a perfect time to reread that piece, but here’s an excerpt if you’re short on time: Continue reading “Don’t Play Into The Divide & Conquer Game”
There is NO conclusive evidence that marijuana helps with chronic pain and PTSD, 20-year study finds
There is no conclusive evidence that marijuana helps with chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder, experts say.
Since legislation, 80 percent of medical marijuana patients use it for chronic pain and about 33 percent use it for PTSD.
However, experts warn that there isn’t enough research to confirm it is effective for users. Continue reading “There is NO conclusive evidence that marijuana helps with chronic pain and PTSD, 20-year study finds”
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Restrictions placed by a federal judge on what defendants can say about being at Cliven Bundy’s ranch in April 2014 are leading to tense moments in the Las Vegas retrial of four men accused of wielding assault-style weapons to stop federal agents from rounding up cattle belonging to the anti-government figure.
Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro refused Monday to order a mistrial sought by the defense attorney for Eric Parker. Navarro had ordered Parker off the witness stand last week and told the jury to disregard his testimony. Continue reading “Bundy ranch case: Judge issues list of things defendants can’t say”
A video showing an extremely rare white moose in Sweden has captured the world’s interest.
Explorer Hans Nilsson spotted the animal after searching for a glimpse of one for three years.
He saw the moose on the banks of a stream in Värmland, Sweden. The video he posted online has been viewed more than a million times on Facebook. Continue reading “Swedish explorer captures extremely rare white moose on camera after three years of searching for the elusive animal”
In the Information Age, a person has several choices.
He can give in and accept mainstream news as a valid picture of the world.
He can resort, instead, to some version of so-called alternative news and surrender to that without much thought.
Or he can become a true independent judge of any source of information, armed with the tools to analyze it sharply and clearly. Continue reading “Logic & Analysis: a course for home-schooled children”
A Walmart gun display prodding customers to “Own the school year like a hero,” was a prank, the company confirmed Saturday.
Walmart spokesman Charles Crowson told USA TODAY the company is “certain” the incident was a ruse, but offered no other details.
Walmart started its own investigation of the incident Wednesday, after a photo of the display spread across Twitter. The photo showed a glass gun case in a Walmart store with a sign on top reading, “Own the school year like a hero,” the store’s back-to-school slogan. UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — One of the leaders of the deadly “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend was Mike Peinovich, aka “Mike Enoch,” a popular neo-Nazi blogger and podcaster who was outedback in January as an Upper East Side software developer with a Jewish wife.
After his identity was exposed last winter, Peinovich separated from his wife, according to a co-host on his unabashedly racist and anti-Semitic podcast, sarcastically named “The Daily Shoah.” Continue reading “Mike ‘Enoch’ Peinovich, Upper East Side Neo-Nazi, Was Behind Charlottesville Rally”
The following was published in the NY Post on Friday, reportedly from a former FBI agent, ripping the former FBI Director a new asshole for failing to convene a grand jury against Hillary Clinton, execute search warrants, and for being “cowardly” and “juvenile.”
A crowd of protesters in Durham, N.C., tied a cord to a Confederate statue and toppled it to the ground Monday night to loud cheers, a symbolic response to the violence at the rally of white nationalists in Charlottesville, Va. ‘Unite the Right’ organizer Jason Kessler was reportedly an Obama supporter involved in the Occupy movement as recently as November 2016, before establishing his white supremacist group “Unity & Security for America” in January, 2017.
Per the Southern Poverty Law Center:
Rumors abound on white nationalist forums that Kessler’s ideological pedigree before 2016 was less than pure and seem to point to involvement in the Occupy movement and past support for President Obama. WASHINGTON (Reuters) – With U.S. Congress members focused during their August recess on finding ways to lower the corporate tax rate, industry groups and other sectors of society are gearing up to fight proposed changes to the personal income tax.
While tax cuts for business have garnered the most headlines, lobbyists and lawmakers have conceded that rewriting the corporate tax code will be a long slog.
Tackling personal tax rates will be easier, many argue. Looking for an easier legislative win ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, most lawmakers in the Republican majority want to cut individual incomes taxes. President Donald Trump has been pushing hard for tax changes this year. Continue reading “U.S. tax change proposals anger builders, realtors, charities”

The Washington Post – by Dan Morse
Saying they were there to do work, the four talked their way inside the apartment. They walked around, as if inspecting the place, but provided only vague answers to the residents’ questions before one stranger turned to the others.
“Do you want to do this now or another time?” he asked.
“I’m ready,” another said.
With that, they attacked — the beginning of 11 terrifying hours for a family tied up and held captive overnight in their Silver Spring, Md., apartment, according to court documents filed in Montgomery County. In his running campaign to preserve Confederate monuments, Jason Kessler keeps having brushes with the law. Though to hear Kessler tell it, those legal issues only reflect a much broader campaign to oppress white people.
The alt-right blogger had his most recent encounter during Saturday’s protests in his hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia, over the removal of the pro-Confederacy monument to Robert E. Lee in the local city park. Kessler was one of three men arrestedduring the protests, charged with disorderly conduct for attempting to incite the crowd with a bullhorn. A relative newcomer to the white nationalist scene, Jason Kessler has made waves in his attempt to unseat Charlottesville’s only black city councilman and for his status as a bridge between a Virginia gubernatorial candidate and the Alt-Right. Relying on familiar tropes of “white genocide” and “demographic displacement,” Kessler has sought to parlay his status as a lonely dissenter in the “Capital of the Resistance” into notoriety on the larger far right circuit by organizing a second white nationalist rally in Charlottesville after the first, torchlit rally in May of 2017 made headlines.
A “journalist, activist and author from Charlottesville, VA,” Kessler’s LinkedIn account states that he graduated of the University of Virginia in 2009. He was virtually unknown in the media prior to his crusade against Charlottesville Vice Mayor and City Councilman Wes Bellamy.
