Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and the two senators who provided the most support for his talking filibuster of the drone program intend to use less dramatic means to block the Senate gun control legislation, a move the White House suggested is insensitive to the victims of gun violence.

Gun Control Group Calls for Strict Control of Arms, Ammo in UN TreatyThe New American – by Joe Wolverton, II, J.D.

NEW YORK — On the opening day of the Arms Trade Treaty conference currently underway at the United Nations, Control Arms — a consortium of human rights groups committed to eradicating the international arms trade — distributed a checklist of “nine essential items for a bulletproof treaty.”

As the delegates from over 100 nations work to hammer out an agreement giving the United Nations control over the worldwide sale, trade, and transfer of weapons, there are many (especially in the United States) who rightly perceive in the terms of the Arms Trade Treaty a threat to the Second Amendment’s guarantee of the individual’s right to keep and bear arms.   Continue reading “Gun Control Group Calls for Strict Control of Arms, Ammo in UN Treaty”

Up until now, the invisibility cloaks put forward by scientists have been fairly bulky contraptions – an obvious flaw for those interested in Harry Potter-style applications.

However, researchers from the US have now developed a cloak that is just micrometres thick and can hide three-dimensional objects from microwaves in their natural environment, in all directions and from all of the observers’ positions.   Continue reading “New Invisibility Cloak To Rival Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak”

This UCC document appeared on one of the Skype chats yesterday, it seemed familar to one mentioned to me by a very connected financial person.  The UCC filing statement from 2011 raised 14.3 Trillion in money under the Obama Administration by using the the people of the United States as “property improvement” capital on the land for purposes of collateral. You can’t file a UCC on property, but you can file on property improvements.

Essentially they sold you for 14.3 Trillion dollars in borrowed funds.  This is quite separate and additional from the birth certificate bonds.   Continue reading “US Citizens Defined as Property of the Government”

I don’t know if my perception is skewed by what I read, but it seems to me that a lot of people in the Liberty movement believe that conducting light infantry style operations will be something that comes naturally. I think that this is a dangerous and foolish notion on both a tactical and strategic level.  Scotland would be free if Scots could work together beyond the clan level.   Continue reading “Recon, Raid, and Ambush”

But that’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg for you, once again throwing himself into the thick of controversy by saying the government should sometimes be allowed to block citizens’ rights to make personal choices.   Continue reading “NYC mayor says gov’t sometimes has to infringe on freedoms, so deal”

That buzzing noise means something.
Now, the only reason for making a buzzing noise that I know of is because you are… a bee!
