I lived in Austin for twenty years (until 2000) and my family is still there. I just talked to my brother on the phone, and he was all over this story, trying to sell it to me. I finally told him I didn’t believe any of it, and he wasn’t happy to hear that. He couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t believe what the media was telling me. He told me the murderer’s parents went to his church. I said, “Yes, and can you verify that? Have you met them? Have you seen them on the list of members?” No. His reply was,“Why would these people lie?”  Continue reading “The Austin Bombings are Fake”

The new “Monster Hybrid” FOSTA-SESTA package, was passed 97-2 in the Senate today. The bill is a confusing mishmash of a bill, an act, some major overreach, and the facade of being a solution to #endhumantrafficking. After the Backpage.com scandal and child exploitation showing up on platforms such as Youtube, Twitter and Facebook, how can one be against legislation that thwarts sex trafficking and protects children??? Well, that’s exactly what they are counting on, our ignorance and small, independent platforms being crippled by the fear of committing a federal crime.   Continue reading “Fosta/Sesta Will Destroy Us All”

As the truth about the horrors of the abortion industry continue to surface, we’re all learning more shocking revelations about how the bodies of dead babies are disposed by abortion clinics.

A pro-life group called Created Equal has acquired undercover video footage that appears to show an abortion clinic worker transporting dead babies in a passenger car, then transferring those dead bodies to a “Stericycle waste truck” for recycling / disposal. This is all reportedly a gross violation of state law.   Continue reading “Abortion clinic worker caught on video transporting dead babies in a passenger car to have them “recycled” by a waste truck”

Leftist academia is hell-bent on confiscating our gats like they would a cellular device in history class. They’ve been organizing student walkouts and shining a spotlight on students passionate about gun-grabbing. Pro-gun students, not so much. Actually, in some cases school administrators are being outright hostile to pro-boomstick kiddos.

Like in this case, where a school in New Jersey banished two kids just for having been at a gun range with their family. Yeah, really:   Continue reading “New Jersey School Suspends Students for Visiting Gun Range with Their Family”

The Real Deal

A prominent Cuban-American, family owned construction business headed by an FIU graduate built the ill-fated pedestrian bridge that collapsed in Miami on Thursday, killing several people.

Munilla Construction Management, founded more than three decades ago in Miami, had the contract for the $14.2 million bridge at Southwest 109th Avenue and Southwest Eighth Street. It collapsed just five days after crews lowered the 174-foot, 950-ton section of bridge into position. Reports show at least eight cars were trapped under the fallen debris. Identities of the victims have not yet been released.   Continue reading “Here’s what we know about MCM, the builder of the FIU bridge that collapsed”

In a blatant example of “do as I say, not as I do,” the US government is profiting handsomely by accepting marijuana cash in the payment of taxes while imposing huge penalties on banks for accepting it as deposits. Onerous reporting requirements are driving small local banks to sell out to Wall Street. Congress needs to harmonize federal with state law.   Continue reading “How Uncle Sam Launders Marijuana Money”

The Atlantic – by Adam Winkler

Somewhat unintuitively, American corporations today enjoy many of the same rights as American citizens. Both, for instance, are entitled to the freedom of speech and the freedom of religion. How exactly did corporations come to be understood as “people” bestowed with the most fundamental constitutional rights? The answer can be found in a bizarre—even farcical—series of lawsuits over 130 years ago involving a lawyer who lied to the Supreme Court, an ethically challenged justice, and one of the most powerful corporations of the day.

The cop is charged with negligent homicide by crashing into her car at 94 miles per hour, but mom allegedly didn’t make sure she was strapped in correctly.

The mother isn’t being charged with negligent homicide for not using a seat belt for her baby daughter but merely for allegedly not making sure “the straps were adjusted correctly.” This accusation, made by the police, justifies charging the mother with the same crime as the police officer who smashed into her car at 94 miles per hour.  Continue reading “Mother Charged with Negligent Homicide after Off-Duty Cop Kills Daughter”
