Gov. John Bel Edwards declared a state of emergency for the entire state of Louisiana in response to flash flooding and severe weather as a result of Tropical Storm Cindy.

“All arms of the state’s emergency preparedness and response apparatus are taking Tropical Storm Cindy seriously, and we are calling on all Louisianans throughout the state to do so as well,” said Gov. Edwards. “State and local officials are working around the clock to monitor and respond to dangerous situations as they develop. According to local sources, US-led coalition forces have begun setting up a new military base in Tabqah town in the province of Raqqah.

The new base will be located in the military housing area, the Mohammed Fares school as well as the military and security buildings in the third district of the town. US forces reportedly intend to build a command center and residential buildings for its troops. (Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced that the National Security Council (NSC) on May 23, 2017, informed it by letter that the materials regarding the unmasking by Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice of “the identities of any U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team” have been removed to the Obama Library.

The Army has begun mandatory transgender sensitivity training for soldiers. Chicago experienced a bloody Father’s Day weekend with more than 50 people shot as the city still struggles with its violence.

Fifty-seven people suffered gunshot injuries and nine people died from Friday evening to Sunday night, reports DNA Info. Thirteen people were shot in a three-hour period alone.

A 16-year-old boy died while walking standing on the side of the street Sunday. A person inside a car shot him while driving by.
