Boston officials said they were pleased with the mostly-peaceful protests which took over Boston Common and the surrounding area on Saturday.

Of the estimated 40,000 attendees, Boston Police said 33 were arrested for charges including assault and battery on police officers. Three people were found wearing ballistic vests, and one of those was armed, Police Commissioner William Evans said.

“99.9 percent of the people here were here for the right reason, and that is to fight bigotry and hate,” Evans said.   Continue reading “33 arrested during day of protests; Officials praise largely peaceful result”

The other day CNN put on a circus act that has redefined the Barnum and Bailey circus arena by putting on a no talent, well paid agitator named Angela Rye, a clown in the CNN circus lineup. This clown was hired by the CNN circus crew because of her “principle” position over at Impact Strategies, a firm that specializes in making fools out of everyday Americans.

The solar eclipse won’t take place until Aug. 21, but Oregon has already experienced a serious eclipse-related traffic jam.

A narrow stretch of U.S. Highway 26 had a line of 20 to 30 miles of traffic on Thursday for a single eclipse event, Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) spokesperson Dave Thompson tells TIME, until officials helped clear the jam. The Oregon State Police tweeted out formidable photos of the endless stretch of cars, taken from above on its fish and wildlife plane.   Continue reading “Here’s a Preview of the Solar Eclipse Traffic Nightmare”

A group of protesters who want the body of an alleged Ku Klux Klan leader removed from their city have broken the soil over the grave.

The campaigners claim it has taken officials in Memphis, Tennessee, too long to exhume Nathan Bedford Forrest – who was a lieutenant general in the Confederate States Army.

They also want the statue of the soldier on a horse on the burial site to be removed. The rebel cavalryman, who died in 1877, has been buried in the city’s Health Sciences Park since 1904.   Continue reading “Vigilante protesters start DIGGING UP body of Confederate general and KKK leader Nathan Forrest from his grave”

A Charlottesville police officer has come forward to express his outrage at being told to “stand down” by the city mayor during violent clashes between protesters.

The officer also claims the protests, which pitched “white supremacists” against members of Antifa, were “set up” to allow for the groups to ignite into exactly what happened.   Continue reading “Charlottesville Police Come Forward: We Were Told to “STAND DOWN” to Ignite Race War”
