GROTON, Mass. — John Warren Geils Jr., the artist known professionally as J. Geils and part of the rock group The J. Geils Band, was found dead in his Groton, Massachusetts, home.
The 71-year-old was found unresponsive by police around 4 p.m. Tuesday after they responded to his home for a well-being check. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Foul play is not suspected at this time. Continue reading “J. Geils, ‘Centerfold’ musician, found dead in Groton home”
INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — One person has died and four were injured after an explosion at an Independence ammunition plant on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for Lake City Army Ammunition Plant said in a statement that an explosion occurred at approximately 1 p.m. in a mixing building that resulted in one fatality and four employees being evaluated on scene, who each refused further medical treatment. The deceased victim’s identity has not yet been released.
The 707,000-square foot facility, established in 1940, manufactures small-caliber munitions for the U.S. Army and operates the NATO test center, which performs ammunition reliability testing and weapon testing. Continue reading “One dead, four injured in explosion at Independence ammunition plant”
Former two-term Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has filed paperwork to run for the office for a third time in the May 19 election. The move comes in defiance of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who advised him against it.
The former hardline president is one of 126 people who registered Interior Ministry on Wednesday for the upcoming election, according to the IRNA news agency. The stock price of United Continental Holdings Inc. fell dramatically on Tuesday as the fallout continues over the airline’s handling of a passenger being dragged from one of its US flights.
If the airline’s stock ends the day carrying these losses, the company will lose about $830 million from its market value, MarketWatch reports.

WEB Notes: They just keep spelling it out for everyone and there is no resistance in the mainstream media which of course is the mouth piece for the government. The US government keeps repeating the lie that Assad used chemical weapons against his own people. I find it interesting how this was the reason to attack Assad in 2013 and of course that narrative fell a part. Then we saw a massive escalation in terrorism in Syria. So the US government which is controlled by the children of Satan shifted policies. It did not seem possible after the debacle of 2013 when their case against Assad using chemical weapons fell a part that they would ever use that narrative again, but here we are. Of course, the UN came into Syria and not only removed all of the chemical weapons, but decommissioned any facilities that could be used to create chemical weapons. It goes to show how easily they can pull the wool over everyone’s eyes.

An additional video of a United passenger forcibly removed from his flight emerged Monday, apparently showing the bloodied passenger returning to the plane.
The man — who reportedly said he was a doctor and needed to get back to see patients in the morning — was forcibly removed after United overbooked a Sunday evening flight from Chicago to Louisville. According to passengers, United boarded the plane, and after no one accepted its offer to voluntarily give up their seats for four crew members, the airline said a computer would randomly select people. The man refused to leave, which led to security personnel dragging him from his seat.
