The University of Arizona’s College of Humanities is instructing students to say “ouch!” when they are offended by a faculty member or classmate.

The guidelines for how to response to offensive speech is outlined in a new handbook for faculty, which is entitled “Diversity and Inclusiveness in the Classroom.”

The chief of police in Taft, Texas will face a grand jury after being recorded running a homeless young man out of his small town. He received a blanket trespass warning for the entire city before being forced to leave on a bus.

Texas State Rangers have concluded an investigation into the actions of Chief Klaus “Bill” Mansion after he ran a young man out of town like a sheriff in an old Western movie. The 21-year-old man, Devon Armstrong, was snatched off the street in Taft while he at the library. As a result, he is claiming his civil rights were violated.   Continue reading “Texas justice? Josh Tolley posted a disturbing video on YouTube this past week.  In the video Josh interviews a woman from Missouri who explains how refugees are flown in at night and given Social Security Numbers and Passports completely non-vetted.

This actually happened when Merck threatened to sue a Milan health agency official, Alberto Donzelli, for issuing warnings about the dangers of Merck’s new statin drug, Zetia, and advising doctors in Italy against prescribing it. The parents of a man who was shot and killed by Santa Maria police officers have filed a lawsuit against the department, the city and a number of officers involved in the shooting, seeking monetary damages and increased crisis training for the police department following the deadly altercation.

As previously reported, Javier Garcia Gaona Jr., 31, was shot by police officers last July during a standoff outside of a gas station in Santa Maria. Video recently released by Florida authorities shows the moment a passer-by fatally shot a man attacking a Florida deputy in November.

On Nov. 14, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy Dean Bardes was being attacked by 53-year-old Edward Strother and pleaded for the help of a passer-by, who shot and killed Strother, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office police report.
